NetEase has managed to win the affection of its community by implementing consumer-friendly policies. This is reaffirmed with the upcoming temporary event in Marvel Rivals, which will allow you to obtain a skin of your choice completely free.
Update: Even though this wasn’t mentioned in Marvel Rivals’ official communication channels or in the trailer, the Pick-up Bundle is not free; it costs $2.99 USD. This information only became available once the bundle was released in-game.
This event, starting on March 28, will allow you to get a ‘Pick-up Bundle’ that immediately grants the Hyper Orange skin for Venom. Additionally, similar to a mini battle pass, you will receive a new reward every 3 matches.

In total, the event will feature 8 levels. You can obtain not only the Venom skin, but also chrono tokens, a spray, a name plate, and, most notably: a Custom Coin, found in level 6 of this mini pass.
The Custom Coin is a currency that you can exchange for any skin available in the game store, without restrictions. However, it’s important to clarify that this coin can only be redeemed for one skin. You will not be able to obtain cosmetic bundles that include poses, sprays, or other additional elements.

It’s interesting how Marvel Rivals rewards its community just for playing. This offers a more flexible option than previous methods, such as Twitch Drops, which while also allowing to obtain free skins, were limited in their selection and only included recolors with Galacta’s color palette.
