The most colorful and friendly soulslike on the market is gearing up to receive a major content expansion. Another Crab’s Treasure: Year of the Crab is the name of the new completely free update that will arrive on April 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
This update will include new outfits, overall improvements, and a Boss Rush mode. In this mode you can face all the bosses one after another. Additionally, a New Game Plus mode will offer an additional challenge after completing the campaign. A brand-new boss will test your skills with the shell.
The developers also confirmed that Year of the Crab will be available to Xbox Game Pass users. There is not yet a date for its arrival on Nintendo Switch, but the team plans to release it later. It has not been confirmed if it will leverage the capabilities of the new Nintendo Switch 2.
Additionally, the publishers will release a physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, ideal for collectors or those who prefer to have a physical copy of the game.
