1. Best Dreadmyst Class Tier List

Mage is the best class in our tier list because it has the highest potential damage output and strong crowd control spells. A bit harder to master due to squishiness and timing, but extremely powerful. A class that is lower tier in raw damage, like Cleric, can still be crucial in certain team setups.

Mages require careful positioning and smart cooldown use to maximize damage while avoiding threats. Their rotations focus on high burst, sustained AoE, and single-target precision.

  • Positioning is everything: Stay at the maximum effective range to avoid melee threats. Use terrain, line-of-sight, and crowd control to keep enemies at bay.
  • Spell rotation: Utilize core spells like Fireball, Inferno, Freeze, and other AoE effects in combination with buffs that boost critical damage.
  • Skill tree synergy: Combine abilities from Arcane, Fire, and optional Frost trees to create hybrid rotations tailored to your playstyle.
  • Skill Tree Combos: Blend abilities from the Arcane and Fire trees to create hybrid rotations. Example: Use Arcane Bolt to generate Arcane Charge, then follow with Inferno for massive AoE damage.
  • Resource management: Maintain Mana and Arcane Charge to maximize high-damage single-target bursts without running out mid-fight.
  • Critical hit reliance: Many Mage abilities scale with critical chance, making precise timing and stacking crit buffs essential.
  • Crowd control usage: Spells that freeze, slow, or stun enemies are crucial to surviving in both dungeons and PvP encounters.
  • Durability: Mages are fragile compared to tanks like Paladins; avoid standing in enemy AoEs or frontline zones.

Paladins are all about control and durability. They lead engagements, keep enemies focused on them, and provide buffs that help the whole group survive longer.

  • Engagement Control: Paladins lead the fight by pulling multiple mobs and maintaining enemy attention (aggro) on themselves to shield squishier teammates.
  • Threat Management: Use AoE threat abilities like Hammer of Judgment or Holy Smite to ensure enemies prioritize you over your allies.
  • Defensive Cooldowns: Abilities such as Divine Shield, Sanctuary, or Guardian Stance mitigate large bursts of damage, giving your team a window to recover.
  • Seal Usage: Twisting seals (Holy Seal, Protection Seal) boosts both your damage and defensive output, letting you contribute offensively without sacrificing tanking.
  • Buffing Allies: Apply auras or group-wide buffs like Blessing of Valor to improve party damage reduction, resistances, or healing received.
  • Melee Combat Contribution: While primarily a tank, Paladins can deal steady melee damage with abilities such as Mace Slam or Shield Bash, making them versatile in solo or group play.
  • Positioning: Stay at the front line, between enemies and your team, to protect healers and DPS. Rotate to intercept high-damage threats.
