WWE 2K25 – How To Unlock Super Cena

One of the most memorable moments from WWE 2K23‘s John Cena Showcase Mode was the final challenge against “Super Cena.” A variant of John Cena with the highest possible overall rating in the game, 100. Oh, yeah, and his skin was completely invisible. A clear homage to the invisible John Cena memes born from John’s famous “you can’t see me” taunt.

Hearing that The Invisible Man would be making his return in WWE 2K25 was a welcome surprise to many. As fans love fun, strange characters that can only exist in the game. However, 2K weren’t exactly interested in making it clear just how to unlock him. This walkthrough will clear up just how to unlock Super Cena in WWE 2K25 ahead of his WrestleMania 41 main event against Cody Rhodes.

Where to Unlock Super Cena in WWE 2K25

You can pick any option

1. Open MyRise in WWE 2K25
2. Make your character(s) and progress through the prologue
3. There are branching paths based on your choices, but you can unlock Super Cena regardless of what you pick.

How to Unlock Live Events

Troy Simpkin

1. Look for Troy Simpkin once the game opens up
2. He’ll have a “LIVE” logo next to his name.
3. Talk to Troy

How to Check Live Event Rewards

Live Event Rewards

1. Open the menu with Δ/Y
2. Scroll all the way to the right
3. Open “LIVE Records”
   • “Total Stars” tracks the combined star ratings of all your Live Event matches
4. Move the left stick left and right to see all the rewards
   • The numbers indicate how many total stars are needed to unlock each reward.

How to Get 20 Stars to Unlock Super Cena

Longer matches with more move variety will increase your rating

1. Talk to Troy Simpkin 
   • Choose Singles Match
   • Choose Tag Team Match (easier to get 5 stars)
2. Once the match begins, focus on using different moves, reversals, and taunts to build the star meter in the top left corner.
3. Repeat until you’ve earned a total of 20 stars across the different Live Event Matches, and Super Cena will join your WWE 2K25 roster in no time!
