Where Winds Meet - How to Open Pagoda Treasure Chests

Where Winds Meet has an incredibly large map that is filled to the brim with all manner of interesting objects. While some are easy to grab, there are a couple of weird objects that seem to be impossible to properly interact with. One odd thing you will find while wandering are these tiny little shrines called Wild Rituals or Pagoda Shrines, and they seem to be able to open.

1. How to Open Wild Ritual Shrines in Where Winds Meet

In order to get these little pagoda-like ghost fire shrines to open and give you access to the treasures inside, you will have to interact with them in one of two ways. The first is a pressure plate, and the second is finding and corralling some red butterflies.

1.1 With Incense

The first type of shrine will be a little stone shrine with one, two, or three incense in front of it. This will indicate the number of clouds of red butterflies you will need to drive over to it.

How to Open an Incense Pagoda Shrine

  1. After finding an incense Ghost Fire Shrine, use Wind Sense.
  2. Wind Sense is V on a keyboard or right trigger click on a controller.
  3. The incense will have a red trail pouring out of it, showing where all the Ghost Fire red butterflies are hidden.
  4. Walk over to one of the red butterflies.
  5. Walk through the butterflies, and they will start to fly towards the incense.
  6. Keep walking through them each time they stop, forcing them closer and closer to the incense.
  7. Once the butterflies are close enough, they will light one of the incense.
  8. Repeat this process for each of the incense.
  9. The pagoda doors will open, granting you access to the treasure chest inside.

1.2 Without Incense

If you come across a little pagoda stone shrine but there are no incense sticks, you will have to do a little something different to get it open. Nearby will be a pressure plate, and it might take a little bit of looking to find it.

Pressure plates are usually pretty close by, but they can be hidden.
