Where Winds Meet - How to Get and Use Signposts

In Where Winds Meet, you can place Signposts just about anywhere in the world. These act as a way to leave a message to other players exploring the same area, allowing you to leave them a tip, make a joke, or even just say hi. This guide will go over how to obtain Signposts and how to use them.

1. How to Get Signposts

There are two primary ways to get Signposts — by buying them from vendors or crafting them yourself. If you’re unsure where to find more, open your Bag and check the item description, and you will see a list of all available sources.

1.1 What Vendors Sell Signposts?

There are three vendors where you can purchase Signposts. While you can find one early on, you can’t find the other two until you go to the Kaifeng continent.

  1. Xiong Da, Peddler at Heaven’s Pier – Qinghe continent
  2. Wang’s Woodcraft – Kaifeng continent
  3. Hu Niu’er’s General Goods – Kaifeng continent
  4. Signposts will cost 450 Coins each

1.2 How to Craft Signposts

If you have the right materials, you can craft Signposts yourself instead of having to buy them. This is a cheaper and more efficient way to obtain more, if possible.

  • Signposts will cost 2 Timber and 1 Raw Ore to create
  • You will create 10 Signposts at a time
  • They can be crafted anywhere — you don’t have to be at a crafting station

  1. Give the message or any comments left on it a like
  2. Dislike any comments that you don’t like
  3. Leave your own comment for others to see about this Signpost
  4. If there is an action attached to it, you can replay the animation

3.1 Interacting with your Own Signposts

If you interact with Signposts that you have placed, there are a couple of extra options you will have when interacting with them:

  1. Edit the message on the Signpost
  2. Delete it entirely
