Construction mode

Construction mode

The home base system allows players to manage a personal plot of land and create a thriving business empire. You start with an empty plot, which you can gradually develop into a fully functional hub of production, housing, and management.

4.1 Key Facilities: Grow Your Production

Facilities are the backbone of your home base and determine the types of resources and income you can generate. Each facility serves a unique purpose, from producing commercial goods to providing beds for NPCs. Building and upgrading the right facilities first ensures that your home base becomes self-sustaining and highly productive.

  • Ink Facility – Main source of income. Requires chefs and waiters to operate efficiently.
  • Pottery Workshop – Produce bowls, cups, and other goods for sale or crafting.
  • Wine-Making Facility – Manage production lines to create wine, maximizing output over time.
  • Homes – Provide beds for NPCs so they can rest and work effectively.
  • Farm Plots – Grow ingredients for your production facilities and boost efficiency.

Tips

  • Start with income-generating facilities first to fund expansions.
  • Assign enough NPCs to each facility to avoid production bottlenecks.
  • Place homes close to facilities to reduce NPC travel time and improve productivity.

4.2 NPC Management: Recruit, Assign, and Level Up Workers

NPCs are the backbone of your home base. Recruiting the right NPCs, assigning them to appropriate roles, and leveling up their skills directly impact production speed and efficiency. Strategic management ensures that every task is optimized, from crafting to farming.

  • Recruit NPCs from the overworld.
  • Assign Roles – Chefs, miners, farmers, and other workers.
  • Level Up Skills – Use mini-games and tasks to improve NPC efficiency.

Tips

  • Prioritize recruiting NPCs for high-demand roles first (e.g., chefs for Ink Facility).
  • Level up NPCs gradually; higher-level NPCs produce faster and unlock special abilities.
  • Keep a balanced workforce to prevent idle NPCs in crucial facilities.

4.3 Automation and Efficiency

Learning to Build

Automation is crucial for running your base efficiently without constant micromanagement. Auto-plots and optimized production lines allow NPCs to work independently, freeing you to focus on expansion, quests, or combat. Glory Points earned through automation and building speed up home base leveling, unlocking additional features.

  • Use auto-plots to let NPCs farm and gather materials over time.
  • Fill facilities with workers and raw materials to run production automatically.
  • Earn Glory Points from building and facility upgrades; more points level up your home base faster.

Tips

  • Set up auto-plots in strategic locations to maximize resource gathering.
  • Regularly check facilities for resource shortages to maintain continuous production.
  • Focus on generating Glory Points early to unlock advanced features and customization.

4.4 Blueprints and Customization

Customization allows you to design a base that fits your playstyle. With blueprints and flexible tools, you can optimize layout, improve workflow, and easily expand as your empire grows. Efficient base design reduces NPC travel time and ensures smooth operations across all facilities.

  • Save and Reuse Blueprints for consistent layouts.
  • Fill Gaps Automatically using available materials.
  • Remove Structures Easily when redesigning your base.

Tips

  • Start with a simple layout, then gradually expand with saved blueprints.
  • Use auto-fill to quickly complete production lines without micromanaging.
  • Redesign facilities to improve NPC workflow and reduce travel time.

4.5 Mini-Games and Extra Features

Home base is not just about production; mini-games and quests enhance gameplay, provide resources, and help level NPCs. These features make base management interactive and rewarding. Inviting friends and guild members adds a social element and increases efficiency.

  • Daily Life of a Young Master – Complete quests to level NPC skills and recruit legendary workers.
  • Mahjong and Other Challenges – Optional mini-games that provide resources, materials, and unique rewards.
  • Friends & Guilds – Invite friends to help manage your home base if you reach the required ranks.
