This early and mid-game guide is packed with practical tips to help you avoid common pitfalls and optimize your progress. From leveling and money-making to Drifter management and Riftmaster strategy, we cover everything you need to build a strong foundation before diving into large-scale wars and advanced content.
Tips & Tricks
- Always upgrade your Driftmaster level. Without it, you can’t research critical upgrades.
- Upgrade your Exergy Mining Bot to match your current map.
- Before relocating your Driftmaster, check Relocation Preview via R.A.L.F. and ensure there are free mining slots in each of the 4 Exergy Veins.
- To avoid relocating the main Driftmaster where you want to spend some time, build a Nomad Post Kit. It’s a mobile Riftmaster that gives respawn, Bazaar access, shared storage, and repair features.
- You can equip 3 Drifters via loadouts. Choose a team with strong Link Bonuses between them. Plan ahead which ones to buy.
- Use the Support Station to assign inactive Drifters for passive bonuses. Higher-tier Drifters provide better effects. Optimize based on your build.
- For PvP, bring Rejuvenix Flasks (crafted from gathered animals). Regular healing is disabled in PvP.
- The Research Center is easy to understand. Focus on attribute upgrades, Drifter enhancements, and eventually shielding and turret defense for your Driftmaster.
- Your Driftmaster is vulnerable in war. Siege groups can destroy 30+ Driftmasters easily in minutes.
- If your Drifmaster is destroyed, you need to move it again from the very beginning. Always carry Driftmare Backup Power bottles from the Exotic Shop to recharge it if you need to move through more maps.
- Stick to two main Drifters. By level 35 you’ll only learn around 5–6 epic armors and 3 epic weapons. Focus on a single stat (STR, AGI, INT) and optimize gear rather than mixing everything.
- Having 3 Drifters in loadouts means you can revive with another if one dies. This is valuable for Rift farming and battles. Pro tip: If you get rare loot in PvP, swap it to an unequipped Drifter to protect it from dropping if you die.
- Common and Rare weapons and armor will be learned very quickly. It’s a good idea to reach Collector Level 20 early (based on the number of gears you’ve learned—visible at the center of the skill tree) to reduce the market tax.
- From level 30 onward, you can also use mods. Mods are attached to weapons or armor but are not lost—they’re tied to your loadout and Drifter, so you don’t have to worry about losing them.
Leveling Tips
- Until level 20, simply follow the tutorial content and any quests that appear. Leveling is fast and you don’t need to overthink it.
- From level 20 to 30, things slow down. Start focusing more on what’s effective and efficient.
- The best XP farm is with a group in a Conquered Harvester Hub. The Depth Rift (Harvester Vault) dungeon gives massive XP when done in a group.
- Solo option: Find camps with mobs that are 5–10 levels above you and clear them using an AoE build. Great XP, and enemies often drop Fire-Eater Trap Activators. Use those to spawn bosses via Small Fire-Eater Trap for even more XP and rare loot.
How to Earn Starfall Tokens (Money)
- The fastest way is PvP. Solo ganking is possible if you’re skilled, but the best is joining a Warband or faction army for ZvZ battles. You’ll earn millions from kills and assists.
- If PvP isn’t for you, max your Riftmaster at the best available mining site and gather resources. Complete all quests, convert Faction Medals to Starfall Tokens, and run Danger Rifts with Loot Bonus active. Leave them open for enemies to come and have double reward at the end—high risk, high reward.
- Visit the Faction Store daily and buy useful items, especially Repair Vouchers (weekly). These significantly reduce repair costs for weapons and armor and save tons of Starfall Tokens in the long run.
Recommended Settings
- Disable Auto-target Next Enemy in settings. You’ll have more control during fights.
