In terms of characters that you can use, The First Descendant is pretty diverse in its cast, as the game offers multiple Descendants for different purposes. As the latest Ultimate character to join the fray, Ultimate Sharen has received multiple buffs and reworks to ensure that her abilities are strong enough to assassinate any unsuspecting Vulgus. This guide will help you to make the best build for Ultimate Sharen in The First Descendant and see what fits the most for her in terms of Modules, weapons, and Reactors, while also looking out for the best sub-stats in them. Let’s begin.
Nexon released The First Descendant on July 2, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and recently launched the Season 2 Void Chaser Update Part on December 5, 2024.

Before getting to know which builds work the best with Ultimate Sharen in The First Descendant, knowing her backstory and what she does now is an important step in understanding her overall skills and abilities. Based on her in-game description, which you can see below, Sharen is currently the head of Albion’s intelligence organization, specializing in assassinations and information gathering.
“A Descendant who leads Albion’s intel organization, Colon. She possesses an ability that is optimized for gathering intel and information, assassinations, and many other things.” ― In-game Description of Sharen Julicia
The Ultimate Descendant Project aimed to merge the technology and genetics of the Ancestors with active Descendants, enhancing them into humanity’s forerunners. Sharen’s proposal for the project came with two non-negotiable conditions: her new body must function without reliance on the Magisters, and it must feel pain. Anais, the project leader, tackled these challenges head-on. By refining nerve stimulation technology, she created sensors that allowed Sharen to experience pain like a human rather than the debilitating phantom pain of her prosthetics. This breakthrough freed Sharen’s mind and body from the aggressive pain of earlier systems, ensuring optimal performance.
The next step was crafting a humanoid body prosthetic to house the advanced nerve sensors. Using remnants of Ultimate Equipment captured by Strike Team 1, Anais developed a prosthetic equipped with an artificial circulatory system and a sophisticated neural network—perfectly compatible with Sharen’s Arche abilities. After the final integration, Sharen took her first steps in her new body, marveling at its balance of sharpness and sensitivity. For the first time, she felt the absence of constant pain, realizing what it truly meant to live as a human. As Anais congratulated her, Sharen’s mysterious smile hinted at her determination. “The story of Sharen Julicia,” she said, “has just begun.”
Before you can build Ultimate Sharen properly in The First Descendant, you must finish finding all her materials, which are locked behind the various Amorphous Material Patterns in the game and accessible through multiple farming avenues.
These new Amorphous Material Patterns Variant AC are readily available through many content in The First Descendant, mainly in the Infiltration Missions and Vulgus Outposts. We have listed the complete list of the necessary materials for Ultimate Sharen below:
Required Research Materials | Where to Find the Materials |

Stabilizer x1 |

Heavy Ion Collector Farming Routes
As Ultimate Sharen is the latest character to grace The First Descendant, Nexon also introduces a new material necessary to get her: the Heavy Ion Collector. Introduced with Season 2 Void Chaser Update, the Heavy Ion Collector is accessible by clearing the two White-night Gulch missions, Mystery’s End and Bio Lab, both of which grant you 7 Heavy Ion Collector per finished run. As Ultimate Sharen needs 169 Heavy Ion Collectors before you can start building her in The First Descendant, you’d need a sizable amount of time after unlocking Ultimate Sharen’s Blueprints and Code.
In total, you will need to do at least 27 runs between White-night Gulch – Mystery’s End and White-night Gulch Bio Lab, so that you can get the total amount of 169 Heavy Ion Collectors, which, according to my experience and others’ testimonies, should take up somewhere between 2 to 3 hours of playtime. My recommendation for ensuring that your runs don’t become a bore or a chore to pass through is to alternate between the two missions by completing each one five times before switching to the other.
Gaining the materials for Ultimate Sharen can be challenging as you need to gather them from multiple battlefields scour many Infiltration Missions and defeat special Elite Enemies to earn the dropped materials from them. However, the show’s stars are of course Ultimate Sharen’s materials. These items are scarce and tricky to get, which may add frustration for a player if they don’t know where the best spots to look them for in-game are.
With that in mind, we have gathered the recommended options for you to ensure that you can get as many Amorphous Material Patterns (AMPs) as fast as possible to maximize your farming efficiency below:
Ultimate Sharen Materials | Associated Amorphous Material Patterns | Where to Get the AMPs | Reason Behind the Choices |
---|---|---|---|
Enhanced Cells Blueprint | Amorphous Material Pattern 109 – Variant AC | Hagios – Dune Base Vulgus Outpost |
Ultimate Sharen Enhanced Cells Blueprint is available from two avenues: Vulgus Outpost and Infiltration Missions. However, since the latest Season 2 Update, bringing the regular Sharen to Vulgus Outpost is far more efficient than completing Infiltration Missions, hence why the Hagios – Dune Base Vulgus Outpost is the place you should aim for when searching for Ultimate Sharen Enhanced Cells Blueprint. |
Stabilizer Blueprint | Amorphous Material Pattern 005 – Variant AC | Kingston – Defend Albion Resource Special Operation | For Ultimate Sharen Stabilizer Blueprint, Kingston – Defend Albion Resource Special Operation has the highest yield chance and drop rates across the board, sitting at a 15% drop chance compared to others’ 10% chance. Moreover, you can potentially get 12 AMPs per run (around 8 to 10 minutes) if you get lucky, meaning that this place trumps other farming spots exceptionally well. |
Spiral Catalyst Blueprint | Amorphous Material Pattern 93 – Variant AC | Agna Desert – Miragestone Vulgus Outpost | Just like her Enhanced Cells Blueprint, you’d have the best chance to farm Ultimate Sharen Spiral Catalyst Blueprint in a Vulgus Outpost, specifically in Agna Desert – Miragestone Vulgus Outpost, especially since the other option forces you to fight Molten Fortress before you can open the AMP. |
Ultimate Sharen Code | Amorphous Material Pattern 101 – Variant AC | White-night Gulch – Shipment Base Vulgus Outpost | The last hurdle you must face before getting Ultimate Sharen is obtaining her Code. Although you can also get her Code from Amorphous Material Pattern 1117 – Variant AC, you need to take down Frost Walker first, a Void Intercept Boss that you can’t challenge Solo, meaning you have to rely on Public Matchmaking to defeat this boss and open the AMP. Therefore, the White-night Gulch Shipment Base Vulgus Outpost is the perfect place to farm for Ultimate Sharen Code, though you still need a Sharen to get this AMP effectively. |
Once we get a sneak peek at how you can farm for Ultimate Sharen’s materials, it’s time to move on and take a closer look at her abilities as an Electric Attribute Descendant, which we have curated below:
- Cutoff Beam (Fusion): Attacks the front with an electric blade to deal damage and inflict Electrocution on the enemy.
- Active Camouflage (Dimension): Hides from enemy’s sight. When using an attack or skill in Active Camouflage, Active Camouflage immediately ends, regardless of how much time remains. When Active Camouflage ends, Sharen enters Ambush, which increases the damage for the next attack.
- Shock Nuts (Dimension): Fires built-in specialized explosives from her arm forward to inflict Stun on enemies.
- Flash Shortsword (Fusion): Targets an enemy within range, and attacks by launching multiple Shortswords toward the designated enemy’s location. On Shortsword explosion, deals damage and inflicts Electrocution on enemies.
- Assassinator (Passive): Increases Damage when attacking enemies that aren’t attacking Sharen. When in Ambush, defeating an enemy by using a skill resets the Active Camouflage cooldown. This effect has a cooldown.
None can surpass Ultimate Sharen right now for those who need a Descendant with exceptional and perfect assassinations and infiltration skills in The First Descendant. As she can enter Vulgus Outposts stealthy using her Active Camouflage skill, and paired with her new Transcendent Modules, Ultimate Sharen has become a powerful character that deserves everyone’s respect.
With a clear understanding of what’s required to recruit Ultimate Sharen in The First Descendant and her core strengths as a Descendant, let’s dive into her optimal builds. This section covers her best-in-slot weapon, ideal Modules to boost her abilities, and the Reactors that most effectively synergize with her overall kit.
Since The First Descendant originally introduced a standard version of Sharen, she has access to Transcendent Modules that you can utilize right away if you have them. Additionally, with the major game update on December 5, more Module options have become available, which makes Ultimate Sharen deadlier than ever before.
Bearing that in mind, here are three Modules that should always be in your Ultimate Sharen load-outs, with two Transcendent Module options for you that are suitable for different occasions:
- Dangerous Ambush (Xantic/Descendant): When landing a Skill Attack while the enemy is not targeting you, Skill Power up to +24.9%. On Skill Attack against an immobilized enemy, Skill Power up to +49.8%. As someone who has access to continuous stealth, Ultimate Sharen can benefit greatly from this Module, as you can prepare her offensive skills while still in Active Camouflage, thus giving your skills more damage.
- Emergency Measures (Almandine/Descendant): Skill Critical Hit Rate up to +64.6%, Skill Critical Hit Damage up to +27.7%. Since Ultimate Sharen has a ridiculously high base Skill Critical Hit Rate, sitting at 20%, giving her more Skil Critical Hit Rate will significantly boost the chances that her offensive skills can deal much more damage than using non-Critical builds.
- Front Lines (Almandine/Descendant): Skill Critical Hit Damage up to +64.6%, Skill Critical Hit Rate up to +27.7%. Front Lines works in tandem with Emergency Measures, as this Module gives Ultimate Sharen a massive Skill Critical Hit Damage bonus, while also having more Skill Critical Hit Rate modifier.
- Area Suppression (Cerulean/Transcendent Module): Changes the skill to scatter Shortswords around. Each Shortsword deals independent damage. This Transcendent Module changes Ultimate Sharen’s Skill 4, Flash Shortsword, into Area Suppression, which gives her the much-needed AoE ranged skill that she didn’t have before her major buffs. This Transcendent Module works exceptionally well in crowded areas, particularly the 400% Infiltration Missions and the Defend Albion Resource Special Operations.
- Ambushed (Cerulean/Transcendent Module): Modifies so that killing an enemy in Active Camouflage returns the user to the same state. In Active Camouflage, agility increases, and the Shock Nuts skill is converted to an attack skill. This is an excellent Transcendent Module that synergizes with Ultimate Sharen’s Active Camouflage, which allows you to become permanently invisible to the enemies as long as you can land a kill within that duration.
We have gathered the full Modules that Ultimate Sharen wants in the images below, suitable for general farming purposes, infiltrating Vulgus Outposts, or participating in the 400% Infiltration Missions, one with Area Suppression Transcendent Module and the other built with the Ambushed Transcendent Module.
- Ultimate Sharen’s Ambushed Build.
- Ultimate Sharen’s Area Suppression Build.
Ultimate Sharen’s builds in The First Descendant won’t be complete without discussing the best weapon she can use to dismantle and help her eliminate any Vulgus that dares to stand in her way. Since Ultimate Sharen solely relies on all of her skills, particularly Active Camouflage, and other offensive skills depending on the Transcendent Module that you use, she doesn’t need a weapon to do her bidding. However, Blue Beetle is the perfect complementary tool for Ultimate Sharen thanks to its effect, Arcane Wave: When using a Fusion skill, grants self the unique ability Arcane Energy with a set chance. When using a Singular skill, grants oneself the unique ability of Purification with a set chance.
Since Blue Beetle won’t see much of Ultimate Sharen’s battles, you don’t necessarily need to god-roll your Blue Beetle. Instead, you might need an Enduring Legacy as your secondary weapon in case things go wrong (such as running out of ammo for Blue Beetle).
Best Reactor and External Components
To complete the Ultimate Sharen build in The First Descendant, it is also important to select the correct Reactor and External Components to enhance her Electric Abilities.
Starting with her best Reactor, you should try finding a Tingling Mixture Reactor, which boosts both Electric Skill Power and Fusion Skill Power. A major reason why this Reactor is the best for Ultimate Sharen is thanks to its compatibility with her abilities, which are focused on Fusion-based skills. Moreover, to further increase the Reactor’s strength, the optimal sub-stats for it are Skill Critical Hit Damage and Skill Cooldown/Skill Cost. Lastly, for the Gold Tingling Mixture Reactor, finding one with Scout Rifle Weapon Group Mounted is imperative to ensure that your Reactor receives more bonus power, as you will mainly equip Blue Beetle on Ultimate Sharen.
For External Components, you can be flexible and equip 2 Annihilation pieces and 2 Max HP pieces (from any Set), as Ultimate Sharen already has more than enough capability to kill her enemies through the use of Modules and Blue Beetle. The Annihilation Set grants you more Skill Duration, which is great for Ultimate Sharen who needs every second she can get on her Active Camouflage skill.
In terms of sub-stats, you should try and find Max HP and Max DEF sub-stats to help Ultimate Sharen to be a less-squishier Descendant, as she cannot tank many hits at once before going down. You’d want as many survivability options for the External Components’ sub-stats, and you can mostly disregard other sub-stats when trying to build Ultimate Sharen.
And that’s everything you need to know to build Ultimate Sharen in The First Descendant.
