Stellar Blade is a new hit ARPG from Shift Up which is taking the world by storm. Between the flashy combat, the creepy Lovecraftian enemies and the almost ethereal super-beauty of each of its characters, there’s a lot to discuss when it comes to this game. Of course, just like any good RPG, Stellar Blade has plenty of side quests and sub-missions for EVE to complete. Some of these will expand the wares and services of vendors back in Xion whereas others will award EVE with cool gear or new rewards. The majority of the game’s smaller quests will come from the Bulletin Board, including the Puzzle series of math-based missions.
One recurring series of sidequests you’ll get early on is the Puzzle set of quests which has a mysterious, math-obsessed individual ask EVE to solve a series of number puzzles at a terminal near the Cradle entrance. These quests can get pretty difficult, especially for those who aren’t so great with numbers. Wisdom Puzzle is the second quest of this type and, if you complete it correctly, you’ll earn a nice amount of Gold as well as a memento and the pride of having conquered another challenge.

How to Start the Wisdom Puzzle Quest
As we mentioned in the introduction, the Wisdom Puzzle is the second Puzzle sidequest you’ll receive. As such, you’ll need to have beaten the first quest in this chain – Simple Puzzle – before you get access to this one. Simple Puzzle is available as soon as you gain access to the Bulletin Board in Xion.
Wisdom Puzzle, on the other hand, will become available to accept from the Bulletin Board once you return from your first mission to the Wasteland. To be a bit more precise, you can accept it once you’ve delivered the second Hyper Core to Orcal, bringing a little bit more life back to Xion. This will unlock a bunch of other sidequests and missions, including Wisdom Puzzle.

You’ll find the Wisdom Puzzle terminal exactly where you found the Simple Puzzle one. Start by making your way towards the Presence Chamber. Then, before stepping into the train car which takes you down to Oarcle, take a peak at the busted columns to the right side of the room. There, you’ll soon find a small abandoned terminal, one you’ll be using for your arithmetic endeavours.
Just like with the Simple Puzzle quest, you’ll be presented with three number sequences which each have a specific formula applied to them. You need to figure out the formula based on the completed examples and then apply it to the fourth incomplete sequence to get the code.
For Wisdom Puzzle, the sequences look like this:
- 37#21 = 928
- 77#44 = 3993
- 123#17 = 14840
- 71#6 = ?
Your goal is to decipher the last line – 71#6 – which, according to the input device, is a four-digit code.

The answer you need to input for the Wisdom Puzzle in Stellar Blade is 5005. We’ll explain why this is the answer in a moment but, in short, if you input 5005 into the console, the quest will complete and you can return to the Bulletin Board.
For completing the Wisdom Puzzle quest, you’ll get 1000 Gold to spend on whatever you wish as well as the Queen of Arithmetic Badge. This item goes in your Miscellaneous Inventory and, while it doesn’t do anything, it serves as a memento of your successful math quest.

As for an in-depth explanation of how you get 5005, it’s about how you treat the numbers. Just like how you add multiple numbers together in the Simple Puzzle quest, the Wisdom Puzzle requires something very similar.
Firstly, you need to add the first number of each line with the second number and then remember the result. Then, subtract the second number from the first and, once again, remember the result. Once you have both of these new numbers, multiply them together and that should get you the final code for each line.
Here’s how this sequence works with each of the pre-existing codes:
- 37#21: 37 + 21 = 58 | 37 – 21 = 16 | 58 X 16 = 928
- 77#44: 77 + 44 = 121 | 77 – 44 = 33 | 121 X 33 = 3,993
