Resident Evil Requiem: All BSAA Container Locations and Rewards

There are 3 BSAA Containers in Resident Evil Requiem. All are found exclusively in East Raccoon City as Leon. Opening all of them earns the Crate Expectations Bronze trophy and yields some of the best early-game rewards, including a sniper rifle, a Legendary Tracking Module worth 8,600 credits, and the BSAA Emblem Charm.

1. How to Get the BSAA Container Key

You cannot open any of the locked blue containers without first obtaining the BSAA Container Key. Fortunately, the BSAA Container Key is part of the story progression, so you cannot miss it as long as you follow the critical path.

Here is the exact sequence of events that leads to the key:

1. Progress through East Raccoon City until you reach the Underground Parking Garage map area.
2. Inside the garage, find and collect two batteries: one in the northwest corner of the Underground Parking Garage and one in the Sewage Facility. These two batteries are story items, so you can automatically get them.
3. Insert both batteries into the wall panel next to the flooded gate to restore power and open it.
4. Exit onto the street, turn left, and head toward the entrance of Cedarbrook Apartments.
5. A cutscene plays automatically. After the cutscene, Leon picks up the BSAA Container Key from the scene.

Once the key is in your possession, all three locked blue containers become openable. After unlocking all containers, the key will disappear from your inventory afterward.

Tip: The moment you receive the BSAA Container Key, stop and open all containers before continuing with the main story objectives. The containers are spread across East Raccoon City, and you will need to backtrack slightly, but doing it all in one sweep saves significant time compared to hunting them down later.

2. All BSAA Container Locations

All BSAA Containers are missable. There is no Chapter Select in Resident Evil Requiem, but keeping a manual save at the start of East Raccoon City lets you return to all containers before triggering the point of no return.

Once you detonate the gate with the bomb, you cannot return to this area.

2.1 Container 1: Near The Applegate Hotel

BSAA Container #1 location.

The first BSAA Container is located outside the Applegate Hotel, near the very first area you entered when Leon arrived in East Raccoon City. This is the one container that requires the most travel to reach, as getting back to it involves going underground.

You cannot walk back to this area directly—you must take an underground route via the gas generator.

Step-by-step route:

1. Obtain the Gas Can with Fuel from the Gas Station in East Raccoon City.
2. Head north of the Central Camp to the gas generator next to the construction site gate on the main road between the Gas Station and Central Camp.
3. Fill up the generator with the Gas Can. This will power and open the adjacent construction site gate.
4. Enter the construction site, fight through the enemies, and find the ladder leading underground into the subway system.
5. Follow the tunnel, turning left through the abandoned subway train, then heading north.
6. An opening allows you to unlock a shortcut that loops back to the first area of East Raccoon City, the district near Cafe Oasis and The Applegate Hotel.
7. Emerge on the surface near the hotel. As you approach the blue container, four zombies will reanimate from the ground—deal with them before opening it.

Appelgate Hotel Container Rewards

• Tracking Module (Legendary): Adds 8,600 Credits to your balance when interacted with at any Supply Box. A massive early credit injection that can cover most weapon upgrade purchases.
• BSAA Emblem Charm: Equip this to a sniper rifle to increase its firepower, but only when no scope attachment is equipped. Best paired with a clean rifle build for mid-range aggression.

2.2 Container 2: Central Camp

BSAA Container #2 location.

The second BSAA Container can be found at the Central Camp, the area that also has the Save Point typewriter and the Supply Box.

To reach this container, backtrack west from Cedarbrook Apartments to the Central Camp. The big blue container sits in the corner to the right of the tent, directly adjacent to the Supply Box.

• Repair Kit: A mandatory story item used to fix the Broken Signal Receiver found on the roof of Cedarbrook Apartments. This is required for story progression.
• A motorcycle that will be used later during the main objectives in East Raccoon City.

2.3 Container 3: East End of Main Street (Crashed Truck)

BSAA Container #3 location.

For this BSAA Container in Resident Evil Requiem, you can find its location at the far eastern end of the main street in East Raccoon City, near a crashed truck loaded with a large blue container.

To reach it, head east along the main road from the Gas Station, past the abandoned and crashed vehicles lining the street. The road will begin to decline toward the end. Look for a crashed truck with a half-ladder along its side.

• Approach the ladder on the side of the truck and press A (Xbox) / X (PlayStation) to grab and climb up.​
• Follow the short elevated path along the truck rooftop and drop down into the enclosed area on the other side.
• An explosive barrel sits near the container entrance. Do not blow it up prematurely. Instead, open the container latch first. Several zombies and Blister Head enemies will emerge from inside.
• Use the explosive barrel strategically to clear the enemies that rush out, then move to the large case at the back of the container.​

Crashed Truck Container Rewards

• Marksman 1A: A semi-automatic Sniper Rifle that sacrifices raw stopping power for a higher ammo capacity, faster fire rate, and quicker reload speed compared to the Classic 70. Ideal for clearing multiple enemies in succession rather than boss weak spot targeting.

3. Crate Expectations Trophy

Opening all BSAA Containers in East Raccoon City unlocks the Crate Expectations Bronze trophy. This is one of the 40 Bronze trophies required for the Platinum, and it is fully missable if you leave the East Raccoon City area before opening all three containers.

The single most important rule: do not detonate the gate bomb until all three BSAA Containers are open. Triggering the detonator advances the story past the point of no return for this zone, locking you out of East Raccoon City permanently.
