PRAGMATA Standard vs. Deluxe Edition: Which One Should You Buy?

PRAGMATA launches with two editions at very different price points. Find out exactly what the Shelter Variety Pack includes, when the pre-order bonus expires, and which edition is the smarter buy for your playstyle and budget ahead of the April 17 launch.

PRAGMATA Standard vs. Deluxe Edition Which One Should You BuyPRAGMATA offers two editions at launch: the Standard Edition at $59.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99. Both include the complete game with no gameplay content locked away, making the choice entirely about extras and presentation. Here is exactly what you get in each.

1. PRAGMATA Standard Edition ($59.99)

The Standard Edition is the base version of the game and includes the complete PRAGMATA experience. Every gameplay system, every story beat, and every upgrade is available from the moment you start. Nothing is locked behind the Deluxe tier in terms of actual content.

Capcom has been deliberate in not gating any mechanics or story content behind the premium edition. The $59.99 price is also notable, sitting below the current $70 standard for major AAA releases.

Standard Edition Contents

  • Full game: all gameplay content, story, and systems
  • Pre-order bonus: Neo Bushido (Hugh) and Neo Kunoichi (Diana) costumes, available to all who purchase before April 23, 2026

2. PRAGMATA Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99)

The Digital Deluxe Edition bundles the full game with the Shelter Variety Pack, a cosmetic add-on that expands what you can do inside the Shelter, the game’s hub area between missions. The $10 premium is entirely cosmetic, with no gameplay advantage or story content tied to the upgrade.

All Contents in Shelter Variety Pack

The Shelter Variety Pack covers four categories of cosmetic content for Hugh, Diana, and the Shelter itself. None of the outfits, skins, or gestures provides any combat advantage.

Outfits for Hugh

  • Heavy Lifter
  • Lunar Cat

Outfits for Diana

  • Mecha Builder
  • Fluffy

Weapon Skin

  • Grip Gun DS

Shelter Extras

  • Shelter BGM — Memories Are You (Lo-fi Ver.)
  • Shelter BGM — Dawn (EDM Ver.)
  • Shelter BGM — Shelter (Jazz Ver.)
  • Diana Gesture — Drowsy
  • Diana Gesture — Pumped Up
  • Diana Gesture — Stepping
  • Data Library — Artwork collection

The BGM tracks can be played inside the Shelter by interacting with Cabin, the Shelter’s robot guide.

3. PRAGMATA Pre-Order Bonus and Deadline

Both editions qualify for the same pre-order bonus, so upgrading to Deluxe does not give you any additional edge on the limited-time costumes. The bonus window is tied to the game’s original launch date, meaning the deadline is firm regardless of the new April 17 release.

Pre-Order Bonus Contents

Regardless of edition, pre-ordering PRAGMATA before the deadline grants two Sengoku period-inspired costumes:

  • Hugh Outfit: Neo Bushido (samurai-themed)
  • Diana Outfit: Neo Kunoichi (ninja-themed)

The early-bird bonus window closes on April 23, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT, which was the original launch date before it was moved forward. After that point, the outfits are no longer available as a free bonus.

5. Which Edition Should You Buy?

The Standard Edition at $59.99 is the right call for most players. The full game is completely contained in the base version, and there are no gameplay mechanics, story content, or performance boosts tied to upgrading.

Capcom has also confirmed that the Shelter Variety Pack will be sold separately after launch, so the Deluxe does not lock you out of anything permanently.

Get the Standard Edition If You…

  • Want the complete PRAGMATA experience without paying a premium
  • Plan to decide on cosmetics after trying the game first
  • Are on the fence and do not want to commit extra money upfront

Get the Deluxe Edition If You…

  • Love customizing outfits for Hugh and Diana throughout the run
  • Want to personalize the Shelter with alternate music and gestures
  • Are already committed to the game and want everything in one purchase
  • Are interested in the digital artwork collection

The Deluxe Edition is a reasonable buy for players who know they will spend time in the Shelter and care about the experience’s presentation. For everyone else, the Standard Edition is a clean, complete purchase with nothing meaningful held back.
