Tips to Complete 100%

Replay Chapters

One of the most useful features for completing a game 100% is chapter selection. If you miss a trophy, there’s no need to restart the whole game: use this feature to revisit specific sections and focus on the remaining objectives. For example, for trophies linked to collectibles such as employee cards or specific interactions (such as “Yimpy ” or “Take notes), go back to the corresponding chapter with a checklist at hand. This method reduces the stress of collecting everything at once, and makes it easier to manage secondary objectives.

Save Often

Some trophies require precise timing or several attempts, such as “Nice shot”, where you have to perform a 360-degree rotation before shooting an enemy. By saving just before attempting these challenges, you avoid wasting time returning to the starting point if you fail. Remember to save manually before each crucial section, such as boss battles or interactive sequences requiring quick choices.

Experience and Explore

Mouthwashing is designed to encourage exploration. Many trophies, like “As the name suggests”, reward non-essential but fun actions. Interact with everything around you, even if it doesn’t seem necessary for the main progression. Take the time to try out different approaches and observe objects that might have hidden functions. Curiosity is often the key to unlocking hidden trophies or discovering easter eggs added by the developers.

Note Missed Trophies for the Endgame

During your first playthrough, concentrate on the story and make a note of the trophies you’ve missed or those that seem too complex. Then, at the end of the main story, use your list to plan a second session focused on those remaining trophies. This allows you to fully enjoy the game without feeling overwhelmed by all the objectives at once.

Use the Developer Console

Some trophies, such as Developer or Glitched 100%, require the developer console. If you’re comfortable with this kind of modification, it’s a great way to access handy shortcuts to complete these technical achievements.

With patience and perseverance, you’ll join the exclusive 100% club for Mouthwashing. Good luck in unlocking all its mysteries!
