Counter-Strike 2 is the sequel to Global Offensive Valve released in 2023. Players across the world are now fighting it out in Counter-Strike 2’s enthralling terrorist vs counter-terrorist competitive game mode. Many of those players will be interested to view their match histories and statistics after playing some matches. Your history shows the results of your matches, along with some scoreboard statistics for them. This is how you can view your CS2 match history and stats for Counter-Strike 2 within the game and outside it.
How to View CS2 Match History in Counter-Strike 2
Players who’ve enabled Prime can view their match histories within the Counter-Strike 2 game. If you’re a Prime player, click the Watch matches and tournaments button with the TV icon at the top-left of the Counter-Strike 2 title screen. This will bring up a ranked competitive match history screen for Premier and competitive matches
The match history here shows the overall rounds won/lost results for all your competitive matches. There you can view your kill (K) and death (D) totals for each match played. The A column shows the number of assists you made in a match. It also includes a star icon that shows you an MVP (most valuable player) statistic for rounds.
The score stat shown there is your overall rating for a round. It’s not entirely clear how the game calculates this stat. However, it is likely based on points given for kills, assists, detonating, and defusing bombs.
You’ll also see a round-by-round performance graphic for matches. This shows you when you killed enemies and how many you eliminated in each round. Stars highlight rounds for which you were the most valuable player.
This CS2 match history screen will be blank if you’re not a Prime player. It only shows ranked competitive and Premier matches that non-Prime players can’t participate in. So, you’ll have to stump up for the Prime version of the game and play some ranked matches to view your match history here.
How to View Your CS2 Match History in Steam
If you haven’t paid for the Prime version of Counter-Strike 2, you can still view your CS2 match history via Steam. This shows you a similar match history and statistics for competitive scrimmage and wingman matches played. It also includes histories for Premier and ranked competitive matches. You can view your CS2 match history from the Steam website like this.
- Open this Steam webpage.
- Click the login link on that page if necessary.
- Input your Steam account name and password and click Sign in.

- Next, open the code email sent to you.
- Enter the authenticator code in the email into the box on the Steam page.
- Click your Steam user name tab.
- Select Games on the menu.
- Next, click the My Game Stats drop-down menu for Counter-Strike 2 and select Personal Game Data.

- To view your non-ranked competitive CS2 match history, click the Scrimmage Matches tab within the game data.
You’ll now see your CS2 match history for unranked matchmaking matches. This match history shows overall results and the same K, D, A, star, and score stats as the one for ranked games within Counter-Strike 2. It also includes an HSP statistic that shows your headshot percentage accuracy for matches.
You can also see a Wingman mode history by clicking Wingman Matches > Load more history. Scroll down your CS2 match history with the page’s scroll bar until you reach a Load More History button. Clicking that button will extend the history until you reach the end of it.
The Download Replay button enables you to download recorded matches. However, this option does not download a simple video file to play in a media player. You’ll need to extract the downloaded file with software like WinRAR, move the extracted file to your Counter-Strike 2 folder, and playback the recorded match with the game’s debug console. It’s somewhat simpler to record your CS2 matches with the Game Bar.
How to View Full Scoreboard Stats During Counter-Strike 2 Matches
Neither the in-game CS2 match history nor the one on Steam shows your full match stats. However, you can view your stats at any time during a match or on its end-of-match summary screen. To do so, press the Tab key on the end-of-match summary screen that displays the result.
However, pressing the Tab key will only show half your scoreboard statistics. There’s another layer to that scorecard that’s quite well hidden. To see the other layer, right-click anywhere on the scorecard to reveal the Cycle Stats button circled below. Clicking that button shows another layer of your match statistics.
There are numerous statistics on that in-game scorecard the CS2 match history doesn’t show. So, it’s always worth looking through your scorecard at the end of a match. These are some of the additional stats the Counter-Strike 2 match scorecard includes:
- KDR (kill-death ratio): Your number of kills divided by number of deaths.
- EF (enemies flashed): The number of enemies you blinded with flash grenades thrown.
- ADR (average damage per round): The average amount of health damage you inflicted on enemies during a match.
- UD (utility damage): A statistic for how much damage you inflicted in a match by throwing Molotovs or standard grenades.
- DMG: The overall amount of health damage you inflicted during a match.
The KDR stat is especially important. You’ll likely win more matches by racking up more kills against opponents than they inflict on you. Although this stat isn’t shown in the CS2 match history, you can manually calculate it with K/D stats by dividing your kills by deaths for a match. For example, 10 kills divided by seven deaths in a match amounts to a 1.42 K/D ratio.

It’s worth reviewing your CS2 match history and statistics now and then to see how you’ve done in matches. You can then see what matches you’ve had the most impact in and those you haven’t played so well. Your K/D ratio, DMG, and overall match scores are the most important stats. The higher those are, the better you’ve played.
