Moorwing is a tough early-game boss, so learning its attack patterns is key to surviving the fight without taking heavy damage. Use your tools and Silk Skills to control the battle and keep the pressure on.

Tips to Defeat Moorwing

  • Watch for Shriek + Slash Combo: Moorwing will shriek and dash forward with slash attacks that deal double damage. Keep your distance and dodge them rather than trading hits.
  • Punish Openings: Wait for regular melee attacks to finish, then jump in and land safe hits.
  • Use Ranged Options: Silkshot or a spear are excellent for hitting Moorwing from a safe distance.
  • Stay Mobile: Dash, Sprint, and Drifter’s Cloak let you evade attacks and quickly counterattack.
  • React to Phase Changes: The fight has two phases – dash away when Moorwing pulls back, and pogo off its dive attack to deal heavy damage.
  • Bring Help: Recruiting Zaza and Garmond can distract the boss and make the fight easier.

After the Fight

Once Moorwing is defeated, head to the door on the left and interact with the sign to trigger a cutscene.
