You don’t need to locate this Crest, as you obtain it by default in Act 1. Upgrade option for this Crest is available after unlocking Needolin in Bellhart.
Speak with Eva in the Weavenest Atla to upgrade the Hunter Crest. The upgraded version of Hunter Crest allows you to deal additional damage after hitting the enemy multiple times.
2. Reaper Crest
Reaper Crest allows you to deal far-reaching attacks with balanced tool slots. Attack with heavy, arcing slashes and reap additional Silk from enemies.

2.1 How to Get Reaper Crest
Complete the Chapel of the Reaper inside a cave to the west of Greymoor to acquire the Reaper Crest in Act 1.
- Locate the Reaper Crest at the Chapel of the Reaper. The Chapel of the Reaper is located in Greymoor.
- Move to the left of the map to find the cage after moving from Halfway Home.
- Travel to the entrance after jumping over the cage.
- Make your way to the Chapel and move all the way to the top of the room.
- Defeat the gauntlet of enemies and acquire the Reaper Crest at the end.
3. Wanderer Crest

3.1 How To Get the Wanderer Crest
Complete the Chapel of the Wanderer to obtain the Wanderer Crest from a hut in the Bonegrave area of Moss Grotto. Use the Pebb’s Simple Key to get inside the Bonegrave. If you don’t have enough Rosaries to buy the key, you can try farming in Mosshome right next to where you buy the Bone Bottom Map from Shakra.
- Purchase the Simple key from the Pebb for 500 Rosaries in Bone Bottom. It allows you to unlock the path to Wormways.
- Use the elevator in the Bone Bottom and move all the way up.
- Dash to several cages to reach the Wormways.
- Drop down in Wormways and keep dropping until you reach the water.
- Move all the way to the left until you get to the small hut, head inside and claim Wanderer Crest.
4. Beast Crest
Beast Crest with a Silk Bind allows for additional damage and buffs itself. Tear foes with savage slashes, Bind to enter a wild fury, and steal life from prey.

4.1 How To Get Beast Crest
Complete the Chapel of the Beast to get your hands on the Beast Crest from the cave on the east side of Hunter’s March. Defeating the Savage Beastfly in the Chapel of the Beast allows you to acquire the Beast Crest.
- Make your way to the Hunter March and head all the way down.
- Move to the right path till you get to the far end.
- Move inside the chapel of the Beast to go through some platforms.
- Eliminate the Savage Beastfly to unlock Beast Crest.
4.2 How To Defeat Savage Beastfly
Beating this boss can be challenging due to its deadly attacks and fast-paced combat mechanics. Use the right strategy to defeat the boss effectively.
- Use the Swift Step ability to dash in and out after every attack.
- You don’t need to attack the boss twice, as it will give him room to counterattack.
- The boss goes underneath the ground and pops up suddenly to deal massive damage, so you need to dodge to the opposite side.
- Maintain a good distance before healing your character using Bind.
- Pogo off his head to deal heavy damage and finish the fight quickly.
5. Witch Crest
Witch Crest provides sweeping swings of the needle like a whip. This allows you to drain life from enemies through twisted roots. Whip the needle in sweeping swings, leech the life of foes through twisted roots.

6. Architect Crest

6.1 How to Get the Architect Crest
Complete the Chapel of the Architect to obtain the Architect Crest from the cave in the Cauldron area of Underworks. Purchase the Architect key from the Architect; you can do that after you’ve collected a total of 25 or more tools.
- Travel all the way to the Chapel of the Architect after purchasing the Architect’s Key from the Twelfth Architect’s shop.
- Defeat the Chapel of the Architect in the Underworks.
- After acquiring the key, jump to the upper level and move west to open the vault there.
- Once inside, you can interact and bind with the golem to unlock the Crest of Architect.

8. How To Use Crest in Hollow Knight Silksong
Using the Crests in Hollow Knight Silksong can be challenging for players due to its complex mechanics.
- Use the Memory Locket to expand the Crest after opening the Crest menu.
- Select the Crest you want to expand.
- Memory Slots are used to expand the Crest.
