High on Life 2 – Kill Billionaire Larry Pinkstock Walkthrough

Larry Pinkstock is one of the first major bounty missions in High on Life 2 and is known for its combat, mini-games, and a murder mystery segment. First, you will need to score a cruise ship ticket at the Pinkline Harbor to board the cruise. 

1. Leave Monorail Station

To begin your hunt for Larry Pinkstock, you first need to reach Pinkline Harbor, where his luxurious cruise ship awaits.

1.1 Head Toward the Pinkline Harbor

You can’t reach the beach on foot from the City Plaza — you must use the monorail to travel to Pinkline Harbor.

1. Follow the path back toward where Gene left you and look for lights on the mall.
2. From there, head to the monorail station where Knifey and Lizzie will call you.
3. Equip your Info Scanner and scan the left side of the train building.
4. Press the red button near the train doors to begin your ride to Pinkline Harbor.

1.2 Fight Bounty Hunters

Once the train ride ends:

1. Take the stairs down and encounter multiple bounty hunters blocking your path.
2. Use your Gatlian abilities to defeat them quickly.
3. After clearing them out, the Reptical NPC appears and asks you to visit his shop.

2. Locate Lugblobs

To get a ticket to board the cruise ship, you must first find and use Lugblobs to unlock access to Pinkbellies Bar & Grill.

2.1 Visit Reptical’s Shop

Head to the beach area and locate the green-walled building — this is Reptical’s shop. Interact with him to receive the Apology Deck, which is required for the cruise ticket. You can also browse and purchase optional gear here to prepare for upcoming encounters.

2.2 Approach Pinkbellies Bar

Leave the shop and move to the right, ascending higher ground and crossing the bridges. You’ll arrive at a locked room featuring a metal plate that requires Lugblobs to activate.

2.3 Collect and Place Lugblobs

• First Lugblob: Shoot the glass window to acquire it.
• Second Lugblob: Use the skateboard to jump onto a ledge on the right wall and pick it up.
• Place Both Lugblobs: Position them on the metal plate to unlock the door.

Once the door is unlocked, enter the room and find the Gatlian near the bar. Sit nearby to talk to Travis and try to get a cruise ticket from him.

3. Play Mini‑Game For a Ticket

Inside Pinkbellies Bar, you need to earn Travis’s trust to secure an extra cruise ticket. This requires completing a series of mini-games that test rhythm, aim, and timing. Successfully filling the Happy-O-Meter unlocks the ticket and allows you to board the Pinkline Panacea.

3.1 Talk to Travis

Approach Travis and initiate a conversation. Select dialogue options that show support and positivity — this will trigger the Happy-O-Meter mini-game, which tracks your progress toward earning the ticket.

3.2 Complete Mini-Games

• Dance Dance G.R.O.O.V.E.: Tap the arrows as they reach the top to fill the meter accurately.
• Drunk Darts Game: Play darts while visually disoriented. Perfect accuracy isn’t required; focus on filling the Happy-O-Meter.
• Other Light Challenges: Additional mini-games may appear. Complete enough of them to maximize the meter.

Once the Happy-O-Meter is full, Travis agrees to give you the cruise ticket. Proceed to the docks and board the Pinkline Panacea to continue the mission.

4. Pass Through the Security Checkpoint

Before boarding the Pinkline Panacea, you must get past the ship’s security checkpoint. This section covers navigating enemies, leaving your Gatlians behind safely, and preparing for the next part of the mission inside the ship.

4.1 Fight to the Ticket Counter

1. Move forward using your skateboard to maneuver quickly.
2. Glide across gaps — if you fall into water near the dock, respawn on the opposite side.
3. Approach the ticket counter, then defeat bounty hunters blocking the way in.

4.2 Leave Gatlians Behind

When you reach the checkpoint, the guard will ask you to leave all your Gatlians behind. Place them carefully on the belt — using the bin is recommended — to ensure you don’t lose any equipment permanently.

After leaving your Gatlians, move into the museum section of the ship. Interact with all the displays here — this is part of the mission objectives and sets up later tasks.

5. Get Fedora & Knifey

Before the main investigation, you must find a fedora for Travis and get your weapon, Knifey, back from Lido Deck. 

5.1 Find Fedora

1. Head to the museum inside the ship.
2. Inside, direct a laser to break the display case and retrieve the fedora.

5.2 Suit Shop

1. Take the elevator up to the Finery Boutique.
2. Speak to the salesman and go through dialogue to pick a suit — this is cosmetic only.
3. Exit and head to the Lido Deck.

5.3 Retrieve Knifey

1. On the deck, talk to a kid who asks you to collect six letters: G, O, A, N, D, S.
2. Use your skateboard to collect them from around the pool area and deck.
3. Return to the kid and use Travis’s special fire to launch a Lugblob into the air to grab Knifey.
4. Defeat enemies on the deck, then return to the main hallway — your VIP status now gets you a suite key.

6. Move Into the Murder Mystery Party

With Knifey and the fedora, you’re ready to attend a VIP murder mystery party, where the real twist begins.

6.1 Get Ready For The Party

1. From the elevator, take a left, then right down the hallway.
2. Grab a Loglox from the bathroom’s bathtub area.
3. Rest at the nearby bed, then open the wardrobe and put your outfit on to enter the VIP section.
4. Follow the floating guide into the VIP room where guests await.

6.2 Solve the Murder of Larry Pinkstock

Once you reach the VIP area, the lights go out, and a gunshot is heard — Larry Pinkstock is found dead, and you must solve the mystery. Avoid missing evidence — every clue must be found before accusing someone, or dialogue options won’t unlock properly.

6.3 Interview All Suspects

Talk to every suspect — Admiral Session, O.B. Oberon, Richard Twelfth the Eighth, and Edeline Moss — and exhaust all dialogue, as more options unlock after gathering clues.

6.4 Make Final Accusation

Once all evidence is gathered and dialogues are exhausted, press the big red button and make the correct accusation to get the Columbo in Space achievement.

7. Defeat Tiffany

After solving the murder mystery at the VIP party and chaos erupts aboard the Pinkline Panacea, you’ll escape through the yellow slide next to the cake and reach the Lido Deck, where a mini‑boss fight against Tiffany awaits. Once on the deck, retrieve your Gatlians — these are crucial for handling both Tiffany and the surrounding enemies.

7.1 Tips to Defeat Tiffany

• Stay Mobile: Constant movement (skateboarding and strafing) keeps you from being easy to hit — Tiffany will punish stationary players, so use lateral movement and avoid open fullscreen combat zones.
• Use Burst Damage Weapons: Equip Gatlians or guns with strong burst DPS to chip away at Tiffany’s health quickly. This reduces her time casting attacks and lowers the danger of drawn‑out fights.
• Control Crowd Support: While Tiffany is the priority, nearby Gluttons and other enemies can flank you. Use weapons with area‑control perks (like Sweezy’s Time Bubble) to slow groups and isolate Tiffany for safer damage windows.
• Trigger Special Abilities: When Tiffany is exposed (not in attack animation), use your Gatlians’ special abilities — these often deal higher damage or provide utility like stuns/interrupts that create breathing room.
• Avoid Being Cornered: Keep moving around the pool and room edges, using any grapple points or raised areas to reposition. Baiting Tiffany into predictable attacks and dodging aside makes it easier to avoid heavy damage.

8. Eliminate Kreg

After defeating Tiffany, the mission continues to the upper deck of the Pinkline Panacea, where you face the final boss, Kreg. This section covers navigating the upper deck, handling enemies along the way, and tips for defeating Kreg efficiently. Maintain mobility using your skateboard as you approach Kreg.

8.1 Tips to Defeat Kreg

• Keep moving constantly: Strafe, skate in circles, and avoid staying in one spot to dodge Kreg’s bullets and heavy attacks.
• Use Gatlians’ special abilities: Maximize DPS during windows when Kreg is exposed or after telegraphed attacks.
• Dodge smartly: Sideways dodges are more effective than retreating straight back. Anticipate attack patterns rather than reacting last second.
• Prioritize survival: Avoid taking damage first; deal damage only when safe to do so.

Once defeated, the arena clears, and you fall into the water. You then wake up back in your quarters, completing the Larry Pinkstock bounty mission.
