The Find and Rescue Lizzie mission begins immediately after completing the Bounty Hunter Museum and collecting all three Gatlians. This chapter is a long, multi-area objective that takes you through Circuit Arcadia Zoo, the Aviary, multiple Reptical encounters, environmental Lugblob puzzles, and finally into Rhea Pharmaceuticals’ Secret Lab.
1. Select the Lizzie Bounty
After returning to the 5000 Bounty Machine and reviewing available targets, the bounty system reveals Lizzie’s location inside a hidden lab connected to Circuit Arcadia Zoo. Select the Bounty for Lizzie on the machine, and a portal opens next to it. Once you step through the portal from the Bounty Hunter Museum, the mission officially begins.
2. Reach Circuit Arcadia Zoo
You arrive outside the zoo plaza after exiting the portal. This area is intentionally calm, serving as a brief buffer before combat begins. Head to the far right of the plaza and speak with the NPC sitting at the table. This interaction confirms you’re in the correct location and subtly points you toward the zoo entrance.
Getting Past the Guards
From here, climb the stairs leading upward toward Circuit Arcadia Zoo. As you approach, armed guards block the entrance and immediately become hostile if you get too close. Attempting to brute-force your way through usually results in taking unnecessary damage.
- Activate Sweezy’s Time Bubble and throw it into the group.
- While they’re slowed, jump past them and enter the zoo without fighting.
3. Fight Through the Zoo Interior
The zoo interior opens into a vertical combat space filled with bounty hunters. Descend the nearby stairs and engage the enemies below. These enemies are better equipped than earlier encounters and punish careless movement.
As you push forward, an explosion draws your attention toward a branching path. Move toward it, then shift left before taking the right-hand route deeper into the exhibit corridors.
Tips for Clearing Enemies
- Use Knifey on enemies with two functional arms for quick eliminations.
- Prioritize headshots—most enemies deal high damage but lack armor.
- Use Sweezy’s bubble to control crowds and prevent being overwhelmed.
- Follow the path as it curves to the right and drops into a lower section of the zoo.
4. Escape the Lugblob Exhibit
A waterfall marks the transition into the Lugblob Exhibit. The game briefly removes combat pressure here and shifts focus to environmental traversal.
Move toward the left side of the waterfall and follow the ledge until you reach its far end. At this point, a Lugblob bursts from the ground. This creature functions as a traversal tool rather than an enemy.
How to Use Lugblob
- Activate Sweezy’s Time Bubble on the Lugblob.
- Jump onto it and use the bounce to reach the higher ledge.
- Exit the exhibit and continue toward the Aviary.
This maneuver allows you to escape the exhibit and continue forward toward the Aviary.
5. Find an Alternate Entrance to the Aviary
As you approach the Aviary, you’ll notice that the main entrance is completely blocked by fire. The game intentionally funnels you toward an alternate route rather than allowing a direct entry.
Before reaching the blocked entrance, look to the right side near a ledge and locate a white panel. Scan it with the Info Scanner, which creates a temporary traversal path. Follow this path until you reach a point where grappling becomes necessary.
How to Use Gus Grapple Ability
- Move left and grapple onto the ledge.
- Deploy Gus’s platform ability (Q) to create a stable surface.
- Cross the platform and squeeze through the narrow opening.
- Enter the Aviary and listen as Gene contacts you, confirming progress.
6. Clear the Aviary and Locate Reptical
The Aviary is a large, open combat arena filled with vertical sightlines, making snipers especially dangerous. Move forward cautiously and listen for audio cues warning you about sniper presence.
You must fully clear this area before progression is possible. Taking out all bounty hunters here rewards you with the “Broke the Code” trophy, signaling successful completion of the encounter.
Once the area is secure, you reach a safe zone and finally encounter Lizzie. The reunion is brief and deliberately tense. Before you can escort her out, Reptical ambushes you, knocking you to the ground and forcibly separating you from her.
7. Skateboard Escape Sequence
After the ambush, a skateboard becomes available. This introduces a new traversal mechanic that dominates the remainder of the mission.
Pick up the skateboard and follow the glowing rings laid out through the Aviary. These rings guide your escape route and teach you how to maintain speed and control. Speed boosts are essential here—without them, gaps become impossible to clear.
As you near the end of the escape ramp, Reptical reappears, signaling that this chase is far from over.
8. Defeat Reptical in the Aviary
The second Reptical fight takes place across the Aviary’s open space and is significantly more dangerous than the first encounter. Reptical mirrors your movement using his own skateboard, making him difficult to track.
How to Defeat Reptical
- Track Reptical as he mirrors your skateboard movement.
- Use Sweezy’s Time Bubble to slow him.
- Close in with Knifey for heavy damage.
- Follow up with Gus to chip away at his health.
- Avoid grenades and poison gas—relocate immediately if gas fills the area.
After enough damage, he becomes stunned, allowing you to finish him off. Once defeated, the Aviary becomes safe to exit.
9. Cross the Destroyed Bridge
Leaving the Aviary, take a right turn and continue through the zoo until you reach a partially destroyed bridge. This section blends traversal and combat.
Use the skateboard to gain speed and clear the broken sections, grappling where necessary. Along the way, destroy a green cash container with Knifey to collect currency.
Enemies, including Hammerbirds, attack as you move forward. Clear them methodically and continue following Info Scanner markers until you reach a locked door at the end of the path.
10. Suburbs and Power Pad Puzzle
Beyond the locked door lies the Suburbs, where progress is blocked by a power pad puzzle. Your goal is to place a Lugblob onto a metal pressure plate to unlock the door.
This requires careful positioning rather than speed. Retrieve the trapped Lugblob and adjust its placement until the plate activates correctly.
Inside the Human Exhibit, you encounter Griffin, who initially appears neutral but attacks mid-conversation. Defeat him, retrieve the Lugblob located above his area, and place it onto the power pad to unlock the exit.
Leaving the exhibit triggers another enemy encounter, signaling the final approach to the lab.
11. Enter Rhea Pharmaceuticals’ Secret Lab
Combat intensifies outside the lab. Hammerbirds and ranged enemies attack in waves. Staying on rooftops significantly reduces the risk of being overwhelmed.
How to Get Past Security Guard
- Push forward until you reach a safe zone guarded by a security officer.
- Speak with them and select the dialogue option “Come on, we’re all friends here.” This grants you a keycard without triggering combat.
- Proceed to the garage, press the red button to open it, and enter the elevator. Activate it to descend into Rhea Pharmaceuticals’ Secret Lab.
12. Final Escape With Lizzie
Inside the lab, follow the yellow objective markers while using the skateboard to move quickly through corridors. Interact with the TV to gain additional context about Lizzie’s situation.
Smaller enemies appear, but they’re easily managed using Knifey and Sweezy’s bubble. Reptical makes one final appearance here, but no longer fights aggressively. Mid-combat, he stops entirely, allowing you to move past him.
Follow Lizzie through the unlocked door and escape using skate paths, ziplines, and sealed gate routes while listening to Gatlian dialogue.
