Doris is not a normal vendor you can visit whenever you like — she is a weather‑based traveling merchant who only appears during special weather events. Many advanced Heartopia goals — especially in cooking, collectible items, cosmetics and limited furniture — depend on finding her when she appears and buying what she offers.
1. Who is Doris in Heartopia?
Doris is a unique NPC vendor in Heartopia who only appears under specific weather conditions/events. She does not have a permanent shop (unlike other merchants), so you must time your search based on the forecast.
She sells exclusive recipes, ingredients, cosmetics, collectibles, and meteor‑based furniture that cannot be acquired anywhere else in the game.
2. How To Find Doris in Heartopia
Use your in‑game watch forecast to know if rain, snowfall, a rainbow, or a meteor shower is coming. Explore after the event starts because Doris only appears during those weather events, not before or after. Rainbows, falling stars, and rain/snow onboard effects are your best signals to track her down.
Rain or Active Snowfall
- Art Street — Main Town: Her most consistent spawn point during rain and snowfall.
- Make your way to the Art Street, and she stands with her stall near the street marketplace area and/or near bridges.
Rainbow Event
- Base of the Rainbow – the exact spawn is dependent on where the rainbow touches the ground. Go to the further end of the rainbow to find Doris.
- Common Doris Spawns: Onsen Mountain base, Forest clearings near water, Forest Island scenic areas
NOTE: Location for Doris varies per session, and you may need to explore a bit following the arc of the rainbow.
Meteor Shower
- Near Meteor Impact Sites — usually in open mountain or highland areas (often Onsen Mountain), where shooting stars have just fallen.
- During this event, she does not appear in town at her Art Street location.
3. All Doris Items in Heartopia
Before you get to Doris, you need to make sure you have all currencies in Heartopia to shop her exclusive inventory. Wish Stars are a special event currency earned by completing daily tasks and finding hidden Wish Bubbles in the world. Gold is the standard currency. Star Fragments are collected by mining meteor impact areas during a Meteor Shower.
| Item | Event | Price / Cost | Currency | Use / Effect |

4. Strategy to Catch Doris Every Time
- Check your in‑game weather forecast on your watch — this shows current and upcoming weather icons.
- When rain or snow is predicted, prepare by saving Gold and Wish Stars. Head to Art Street once it starts.
- When a rainbow appears after rain, follow the arc until you find the base — Doris will be nearby.
- Save Star Fragments if you want Meteor items — meteor showers are short and rare, so collect fragments ahead of time.
Tips
- Buy all colored sugars you can during rain/rainbow — these are the only source.
- Wish Stars are precious — prioritize Roll Cake recipes and exclusive umbrellas first.
- Meteor events are rare — don’t show up empty‑handed (Gold doesn’t work then).
- Some players report that Doris’s inventory may slightly rotate color varieties or designs each time you see her — check each visit.
