Escape From Duckov is strictly single-player PvE by default. The game has already reached its peak due to its unique mechanics and fascinating gameplay. Most players are confused about whether the game supports multiplayer mods or not.

However, there are co-op mods that let two or more players team up in the same session. If a player dies, they cannot be revived and may switch to spectator mode in the co-op mode. The mod is not official — it’s community-driven, so there may be bugs or crashes.

1. Is There Any Multiplayer Mode in Escape From Duckov?

There is no official Multiplayer game mode available for PvP, and Co-Op in Escape From Duckov. The core game was built for single-player, so some systems may not fully behave like a game designed for multiplayer. However, with mod support you can play it in co-op using Steam Workshop.  Some features, like revival, full loot sharing, or PvP, cannot be supported in the current mod.

On the Steam page, it clearly states that Escape From Duckov is a single-player game. After checking the official forums, there are currently no plans for a multiplayer update. The game stands out as a top-down shooter, offering a unique experience compared to its FPS counterparts.

Despite being a solo experience, the game delivers an engaging and rewarding gameplay loop focused on exploration, looting, and progression. Players can freely explore maps, collect valuable loot, and upgrade their hideout to improve survival and efficiency during raids. 2. How To Install Multiplayer Mod

Make sure to install the necessary mods to play Escape From Duckov in multiplayer. The developers have added full mod support and integrated the game with the Steam Workshop, allowing players to easily team up with friends by following a simple installation process.

1. Go to the Steam Workshop Link and subscribe to the mod.
2. Press Subscribe to All after prompting to add the prerequisites.
3. Move to the Mods and ensure the load order is in a correct sequence.
4. The sequence for loading the order is HarmonyLib, LiteNetLib, Debug CMD Mod, and Co-Op Mod.
5. Start a new save after restarting the game.
6. Use the Home key to access all the co-op and online commands.
7. Set a strong password.

2.1 Joint Session

1. Download Radmin VPN and create a new network to host your multiplayer session.
2. Once the network is set up, invite your friends and set a secure password for access.
3. Return to your bunker in Escape From Duckov and press the Home key to start a new server session.
4. Players who wish to join must also download and install Radmin VPN to connect to the same network.
5. After joining the VPN, they need to go to their own bunker and open the online options menu using the Home key.
6. Enter the host’s IP address provided through Radmin VPN.
7. Once connected via the IP, all players can join the same session and enjoy Escape From Duckov in multiplayer mode, exploring, looting, and surviving together.

The mod in the game adds functionality that the game does not originally support. If you face bugs or other issues, report them in the mod’s Steam discussions.

3. Does Co-Op Matter?

Escape From Duckov is currently a single-player PvE game. The developers intentionally chose PvE over PvP, as adding player-versus-player combat in a search-fight-extract system can increase failure rates and lead to player frustration. PvE, on the other hand, provides a smoother experience, allowing players to focus on survival and progression.

However, there’s a possibility that multiplayer support could be introduced later through a future expansion or update.
