Resource farming on Arrakis - Dune: Awakening In Dune: Awakening, crafting the strongest gear and advanced equipment depends on rare resources like Stravidium, Titanium Ore, and Jasmium. These materials are hidden in some of Arrakis’ most dangerous zones, including the Deep Desert and radioactive regions. This guide explains where to find them, how to farm them efficiently, and which tools you’ll need to harvest these valuable ores for endgame crafting.

1. How to Harvest Stravidium in Dune: Awakening

Stravidium Fiber - Dune: Awakening

Stravidium Fiber

Stravidium is one of the rarest materials in Dune: Awakening, essential for crafting Stravidium Alloy, which is a core component of MK6 gear. Harvesting Stravidium requires high-tier tools and navigating the dangers of the Deep Desert. This zone is a permanent PvP area filled with sandworms and rival players.

1.1 Where to Find Stravidium Mass

Stravidium Mass spawns in the Deep Desert, specifically PvP zones. Look for turquoise-green plates growing from red canyon slopes or rocky outcrops. Nodes often appear near old wrecks or worm-destroyed bases. Use the Resource Density filter on your map to spot high concentrations of Stravidium deposits.

1.2 Tools Required for Stravidium Mining

  • Cutteray Mk5 or higher for efficient mining
  • Scout Ornithopter with extended cargo for transport. Make sure your Ornithopter has an Mk5 wing and engine, in order to cover the distance faster and to be able to fly away.
  • Optional: Survey Probes to locate hidden nodes

1.3 Tips for Farming Stravidium

  1. Fly in groups for protection, as Deep Desert is a full PvP zone.
  2. Mine quickly and rotate between nodes to avoid being ambushed.
  3. Store harvested Stravidium in your Ornithopter cargo hold for safety.
  4. Plan trips during off-peak hours like early morning or late evening to reduce PvP risk.
  5. Set up a forward base near the Deep Desert’s edge for easy drop-offs and repairs.

1.4 Processing Stravidium

After mining, refine Stravidium Mass into Stravidium Fiber using a Medium Chemical Refinery with water as a catalyst. You’ll need this fiber for crafting Plastanium Ingots.

2. Where to Find and Mine Titanium Ore in Dune: Awakening

Titanium Ore - Dune: Awakening

Titanium Ore

Titanium Ore is a critical ingredient for crafting MK6 weapons and Plastanium Ingots in Dune: Awakening. It shares many similarities with Stravidium regarding mining requirements and location hazards.

2.1 Where to Find Titanium Ore

Titanium Ore spawns in the Deep Desert, often appearing as deep blue spikes protruding from gray-blue dunes. Nodes cluster near rock formations or shipwrecks. The highest concentrations are usually in PvP-heavy zones, like rows H and I and the sections in the northern Deep Desert regions.

2.2 Tools Needed for Titanium Mining

  • Cutteray Mk5 or Cutteray Mk6
  • Scout Ornithopter with Mk5 wing and engine for fast travels.
  • Optional: Survey Probes for fogged map zones

2.3 Tips for Efficient Titanium Farming

  1. Use Vulture Mode on the Ornithopter for long-distance gliding to conserve fuel.
  2. Mine at night or during server low-traffic times to reduce PvP encounters.
  3. Always unload your ore into storage or vehicles to minimize losses if killed.
  4. Keep your radiation suit and other survival gear in top condition for desert hazards.
  5. Establish multiple routes to and from mining zones for safer retreat options.

2.4 Processing Titanium

Refine Titanium Ore into Titanium Ingots at a Medium Ore Refinery. Titanium is then combined with Stravidium Fiber to produce Plastanium Ingots, crucial for high-end crafting.

3. How to Farm Jasmium in Dune: Awakening

Jasmium is a rare, radioactive resource required for creating Duraluminum, which is used in top-tier weapons, advanced facilities, and tools. Harvesting Jasmium requires specialized gear and careful management of radiation exposure.

3.1 Where to Find Jasmium

Jasmium found in Sheol - Dune: Awakening

Jasmium in Sheol

Jasmium only appears in Sheol, located in the southwestern region of the map. You’ll find deposits inside rocky outcrops, caves, and pools of glowing green liquid. The most efficient farming areas include:

  • Central crater in Sheol with clusters of 6-7 nodes
  • Green pools scattered across Sheol’s islands and terrain

3.2 Required Gear for Jasmium Mining

  • Radiation Suit Mk4 minimum (Mk5 preferred for longer stays)
  • Industrial Cutteray Mk4 or higher for mining
  • Ornithopter or Buggy for transportation
  • Optional: Iodine Pills for radiation mitigation

3.3 Tips for Safe Jasmium Farming

  1. Never stand in the green liquid—it rapidly spikes your radiation meter.
  2. Keep your radiation meter under 75% to avoid instant death.
  3. Use a Buggy for higher storage capacity compared to Ornithopters.
  4. Consider establishing an outpost near the radiation zone to reset your radiation levels.
  5. Plan shorter trips if using an Ornithopter, as storage space and radiation limits are tighter.
  6. You can be anywhere on the edge of the map and with Ornithopter you can just fly from the map, and then on the overworld map, you can fly directly to Sheol. So you don’t need to be really next to the zone if you use this trick

3.4 Processing Jasmium

Combine Jasmium with Aluminum Ingots and 500 units of water in a Medium Ore Refinery to craft Duraluminum. This is essential for endgame crafting, including advanced gear and vehicles.

4. How to Craft Duraluminum in Dune: Awakening
