The Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow is located in the Pailune region, specifically near Silver Wolf Mountain in the northern part of the map. The exact spot sits between the Longleaf Shade Hideout and a nearby fast travel point, in a slightly grassy and uneven patch of terrain that doesn’t immediately stand out.

The key landmark here is a hidden well, partially covered and easy to miss unless you’re actively searching for it.

2. How to Get Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow

Reaching the bow involves navigating a vertical dungeon filled with traps. The route is linear, but positioning and timing matter throughout.

Crossing blade traps

Crossing blade traps

  1. Start from Hernand and head north: Move into the Pailune region, progressing toward Silver Wolf Mountain. Unlock nearby fast travel points to make retries easier if needed.
  2. Position between Longleaf Shade Hideout and the fast travel point: Stay within this zone and begin scanning the ground carefully.
  3. Locate the hidden well: Look for a small, grass-covered well opening. It blends into the terrain, so it’s easy to overlook from a distance.
  4. Drop into the well: Enter and descend all the way to the bottom. This leads to an underground chamber.
  5. Avoid the lava floor: The first room contains lava hazards across the center. Stay along the edges and avoid stepping into the middle.
  6. Proceed deeper into the structure: Move toward the lower section where a doorway leads further inside.
  7. Watch for moving blade traps and timing-based hazards, and wait for openings before moving forward.
  8. Cross the spike sections: Some areas require jumping across narrow platforms with spikes below. Mistimed jumps can result in instant death.
  9. Reach the final chamber: At the end of the path, a second door opens into a back room.
  10. Retrieve the bow: The Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow is located inside this final chamber. Interact to collect it.

NOTE: Once obtained, fast travel out is the safest option rather than backtracking through traps.
