Crimson Desert – All Legendary Horses Locations

Chasing down legendary horses in Crimson Desert? These rare mounts are hidden across multiple regions, each tied to specific terrain and taming challenges, check out exact locations and stats to help you register these horses.

legendary horses crimson desertThe legendary horses in Crimson Desert are rare world spawns tied to specific regions rather than quests or vendors. Each mount appears in a fixed location and must be located through exploration before the taming process can begin.

1. All Legendary Horses

These horses are placed across different biomes, with terrain, weather, and visibility all affecting how difficult the encounter becomes. There are three legendary horse mounts that you can tame and then call when needed.

  • Royler – speed-focused white horse found in frozen terrain
  • Rokade – durability-focused black horse in open lowlands
  • Camora – balanced red horse located in dense forest regions

2. How to Increase Stamina for Horse Taming

Stamina Skill

Stamina Skill

Stamina plays a critical role when taming horses in Crimson Desert, especially for legendary mounts where resistance is stronger and environmental drain is higher. Low stamina often leads to failed attempts, making upgrades and preparation just as important as the taming process itself.

The only permanent way to raise your stamina level is by upgrading it directly through the Skill Tree using Abyss Artifacts. Go to Stamina Skill and upgrade it to above level 6 so you can easily maintain balance during taming.

3. How to Tame Legendary Horses

Taming Horse

Taming Horse

Taming a legendary horse in Crimson Desert follows the same core system as standard mounts, but with tighter timing, higher sensitivity to movement, and heavier stamina pressure depending on the region. Success depends on approach control, positioning, and maintaining balance during the taming phase.

  1. Start by locating the legendary horse: Once you enter the correct region, scan open areas, clearings, or biome-specific zones where the horse roams. Legendary mounts do not stay still, so tracking movement is essential.
  2. Approach from a blind angle: Move in slowly from behind or from the side. Avoid direct frontal movement, as this increases the chance of the horse reacting and escaping.
  3. Control your movement speed: Do not sprint when closing the gap. Slow, controlled walking reduces detection and helps maintain proximity without triggering panic behavior.
  4. Initiate the mount interaction: Once close enough, interact immediately to jump onto the horse and begin the taming sequence.
  5. Stabilize during the taming phase: After mounting, the horse will begin resisting. Maintain balance by adjusting your input to counter its movement direction.
  6. Watch your stamina: Taming drains stamina continuously, and harsh environments like snow regions increase the drain further. Losing stamina too quickly will result in being thrown off.
  7. Maintain control until completion: Keep the horse centered and stable until the taming meter fills completely.
  8. Repeat if necessary: If you are thrown off, reposition and attempt again. Legendary horses often require multiple attempts depending on timing and stamina control.

After taming a horse, you will see the horse’s info and stats, and you will get two options: you can either choose to Register and Ride or Register and Send to Stable. You can send your tamed horses to the stable and go to any major city stable and choose your horse to ride.

4. Royler Location

Royler Location

Royler Location

Royler is a Legendary white horse that appears in the Snowgrass Hearth region, a frozen northern zone filled with wide ice fields and frozen lake basins. The area sits in the upper reaches of Pailune, where cold conditions heavily affect stamina usage and movement speed.

Royler is commonly seen near open frozen plains and lake edges, where visibility is clear but traversal is slow due to environmental penalties.

Recommended Level: Stamina Level 6, Ice Resistance

How to Get Royler

Royler Horse

Royler Horse

  1. Start from Snowgrass Shelter: Move northward into the frozen basin until the terrain opens into a wide ice field.
  2. Search frozen lake edges: Royler commonly roams around the perimeter of large ice-covered lakes rather than deep forested edges.
  3. Approach slowly from behind: The horse reacts quickly to direct frontal movement, so positioning from blind spots reduces the chance of escape.
  4. Mount to begin taming: Once close enough, interact to mount and start the taming sequence.
  5. Maintain balance during stamina drain: Cold weather increases stamina loss, making control timing more important than in other regions.
  6. Complete taming cycle: Keep stability until the bar fully completes to secure Royler.

5. Rokade Location

Rokade location

Rokade location

Rokade is located in southern Hernand, west of the Spire of Insight. The area is a lowland basin with open grass fields, scattered rocks, and minimal environmental hazards, making it the most stable legendary spawn zone. Unlike frozen or forested regions, this area provides clear visibility and fewer terrain obstacles during approach.

Recommended Level: Stamina Level 6

How to Get Rokade

Rokade horse

Rokade horse

  1. Start west of Spire of Insight: Move into the open basin until grassy fields replace rocky terrain.
  2. Scan open clearings: Rokade typically spawns in wide, unobstructed grass areas near shallow water pools.
  3. Approach without sprinting: Sudden movement increases the chance of triggering escape behavior.
  4. Initiate mount interaction: Once in range, begin taming immediately to avoid movement disruption.
  5. Maintain steady input control: The terrain is stable, so taming difficulty comes mainly from timing rather than environment.
  6. Complete taming sequence: Keep balance steady until Rokade is fully secured.

6. Camora Location

Camora location

Camora location

Camora appears in the Redtree Forest region, southeast of central Hernand. The area is dense with vegetation, narrow pathways, and limited sightlines, making tracking significantly more difficult compared to other legendary spawns. The horse is usually found in hidden meadow clearings surrounded by thick forest walls.

Recommended Level: Stamina Level 6, Fire Resistance

How to Get Camora

Camora horse

Camora horse

  1. Enter Redtree Forest: Move southeast from Hernand until forest density increases and pathways narrow.
  2. Locate meadow clearings: Camora spawns in open grassy pockets hidden between dense tree lines.
  3. Track movement through foliage: Limited visibility means sound and partial movement cues are important for spotting.
  4. Approach from side angles: Direct approach often causes early escape due to forest obstruction.
  5. Mount when close enough: Interact quickly once within range to trigger taming.
  6. Control movement in tight space: Trees reduce movement freedom, making balance adjustment more sensitive.
  7. Complete taming cycle: Maintain control until Camora is fully captured.
