Collector's Cove All Haunted Harbors Fabled Crops and Fish

Haunted Harbors is the third region available in Collector’s Cove, unlocked after reaching Collector Rank 3. This region is dark, mystical, and autumnal, and contains a total of 20 Fabled Species to find, including crops and fish. Some of these Fabled Species can be difficult to obtain, so we aim to walk you through getting all 20 of them, including explaining Fabled Conditions.

1. How to Get Fabled Species in Collector’s Cove

In Collector’s Cove, you must collect Fabled Species in different regions in order to become a Named Collector. There are two types of Fabled Species: crops and fish. Crops are grown in planters on your boat, while fish are caught in the sea and ponds.

Accessing a Fabled Species can be a mammoth task, taking several steps before you can even think about catching or growing it. The process is somewhat similar between crops and fish, but different in respect to their methods.

1.1. How to Grow Fabled Crops

In Collector’s Cove, you start off with a bag of seeds, and eventually end up with a Fabled Species from a crop. The steps in this process are:

  1. Plant, grow, and harvest a specific number of crops to learn its fertilizer recipe.
  2. Create the fertilizer with a compost bin and add it to a specific number of crops, harvesting them to unlock the Fabled Condition.
  3. Grow the crop again, with fertilizer added, following the Fabled Condition to produce the Fabled Crop.

It all starts with a bag of seeds, and before you know it, you have a Fabled Species.

1.1.1. How to Create Fertilizer

Fertilizer is crucial for obtaining a Fabled Crop. Without it, the Fabled Crop cannot exist. It’s important not to forget it when trying to produce a Fabled Species.

To make fertilizer, you take these steps:

  1. Using a compost bin, select the crop’s fertilizer to add it to the queue. Make sure you have all the necessary resources.
  2. Select Start to begin making it.
  3. Wait until the fertilizer is created, then collect it.

Each time you create fertilizer, a batch of 5 is made for your crop.

  3. Once the bait maker is done, collect the bait.

For each batch of bait, 5 is created.

Once you’ve harvested or caught a Fabled Species, the first thing you should do is feed it to your companion via Strengthen Fabled Bond. This increases your Fabled Bond as well as your Collector rank.
