The map The Tomb from Black Ops 6 Zombies hides several easter eggs and trials. Among them, this challenging scenario allows you to obtain a self-regenerating Golden Armor Vest.
Additionally, the Ice Staff is not the only Wonder Weapon on the map, as it is possible to obtain the Ray Gun for free, without relying on the Mystery Box.
How to Get the Ray Gun for Free
The Ray Gun is an iconic weapon in the Zombies mode of Call of Duty, famous for its futuristic design and great destructive power.

Its energy projectiles can eliminate multiple enemies with ease, making it an exceptional tool for surviving in advanced rounds. In The Tomb, you can obtain it without having to try your luck at the Mystery Box, by following a specific method.
Get the Death Perception Perk-a-Cola
To obtain the hidden Ray Gun in The Tomb, you first need to mandatorily acquire the Death Perception Perk-a-Cola. You can buy it in the Tombs for a cost of 2,500 essence.

Find a shovel
After obtaining Deadly Perception, you must look for one of the four shovels distributed across the map. You only need one, so you can pick up whichever is closest to you. They always appear in the same places and are not especially difficult to see, their locations are:
- In the Ossary, in front of the ammo box.
- In the Tombs, on the pillar behind the ammo box.
- Underground temple, behind the wall with the GPMG-7.
- Excavation Depth, next to the Quick Revive machine.

Search for the ancient gems
With one of the shovels in your possession, you will be able to dig in the bone piles scattered throughout The Tomb. These may contain remains, grenades, and weapons, but what you are really looking for is the Ancient Gem. It is a bright green rock, large and very striking.
To complete the process, you need to find three Ancient Gems. It is important to note that, although you can dig without Lethal Perception, the Ancient Gem will not appear without this perk.

Bone piles respawn over time, but it is advisable not to dig without the active upgrade, as you will only waste time unnecessarily.
Statue Challenge
Once you have gathered the three gems, head to the Tombs. In this area, you will find a statue next to the bull mural which is used to solve the roman numeral puzzle needed to obtain the Staff of Ice.
Interact with the statue to place the Ancient Gems. Upon doing so, the statue will glow and disappear, leaving behind the document The Sorrows of Potts – Part 5, along with two Doppelghasts that are stronger and more resilient than normal.

You must defeat these Doppelghasts to complete the challenge. It is advisable to clear the area before the confrontation, leaving only one or two living zombies so that they do not interfere.
Use concussion grenades to stun the Doppelghasts and consider activating the Aether Shroud field upgrade to facilitate combat.
Ray Gun and Essence Containers.
Once you have defeated them, you will receive the Ray Gun for free, in addition to several Essence containers. You can collect them in the Tomb area, right where the statue was located.
How to get the Golden Armor Vest
The Golden Armor Vest is a special item in The Tomb that automatically regenerates without consuming plates. However, attempting to acquire it in the early minutes of the game can be tricky, especially when playing solo.
If you find it difficult to complete it alone, you can use Crossplay between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation to play with friends from any platform.

I recommend having weapons upgraded with Pack-a-Punch level 3, a good rarity, and a level 3 Armor Vest before attempting it.
Where to find the statue heads
To start this challenge, you need to go to the Dark Aether Nexus and locate two heads that correspond to the headless statues found at the Dig Site.
- The first head is located near the green portal, inside a wooden box under a palm tree.
- Hit the box with melee attacks until the box breaks and then interact with the head to be able to pick it up.
- The second head is near the Juggernog Perk-a-Cola machine, among the bushes in front. It is also inside a wooden box.
- Return to the Dig Site.
- You will see the decapitated statues quite close to each other; interact with them to put the heads in position.

How to overcome the Blood Sacrifices
Upon interacting again with the statues after placing their heads, the Blood Sacrifice will be activated. This challenge will summon special zombies, including the Electric Mimics and the Doppelghasts.
The difficulty of this challenge will surpass that faced during the acquisition of the Ray Gun. You will only have one health point and visibility will be reduced due to thick red fog.

After defeating the first Blood Sacrifice ritual, you must repeat the process with the second statue, which means facing special zombies again with the same disadvantages.
After defeating the enemies and completing the second Blood Sacrifice, you will find the Golden Armor Vest on the wall near the golden bulls, at the location where the Pack-a-Punch Machine is situated. You can take it as if it were any wall weapon or armor, but without the need to spend Essence.
Tips
To survive, it is crucial to keep your armor plates full, as they will be your only protection. If the armor runs out, any enemy hit will be lethal.
Additionally, it is important to know that you cannot leave the Dig Site during the challenge; if you do, you will fail the test and will have to start over. However, if you have already completed the challenge of one statue, only the challenge of the second one will reset.
2.3.1 Using the Aether Shroud to avoid being seen by enemies.
Before activating the Blood Sacrifice, make sure you have enough essence to restock your ammunition. If you run out of plates, you can only replenish them by purchasing the vest upgrade at the Dig Site.
If the battle becomes excessively difficult, you can use a game glitch to deploy the Mutant Injection or the Chopper Gunner against special zombies. This is achieved by activating either of these just after starting the Blood Sacrifice, since these items are actually not allowed to be used during the encounter.
2.3.2 Aether Shroud and Idle Eyes.
Also, make sure you have enough materials to craft a second injection that allows you to handle the second encounter. It is advisable to use the Aether Shroud field upgrade to become invisible and the Idle Eyes Gobblegum that paralyzes the zombies to make the fight more bearable and minimize the hits received.
