Marina is a good landing spot in Battlefield Redsec due to numerous looting chests and buildings. Marina is located on the north-west corner of the map and tends to be less contested at the drop compared to major hot zones. Landing here allows you to have more breathing room early to loot and gear up.

  • Marina Overview: This location features buildings and docks, making it a great loot-heavy area with boat spawns available for quick movement.
  • Strategy: Use boats to reposition along the coast and choose your rotation path before heading inland.

Fights in Battlefield Redsec

Cover Fight

Finding the best loot locations in Battlefield REDSEC can decide how your match plays out. Fort Lyndon is full of gear, but only a few areas consistently give high-tier weapons, armor, and attachments right from the start. Landing in the right place means you’ll have better gear before most squads even get moving.

High-Tier Military Locations

The best loot is usually found around the outer edges of Fort Lyndon, where military checkpoints and training zones store rare weapons and equipment. These areas are often contested early, so move fast and check every crate before enemies do.

  • Combat Training Grounds – Great for assault rifles, armor plates, and ammo crates.
  • Evac Bravo – Known for medical kits and high-level weapon mods.
  • Radar Site – Strong chance of finding sniper optics, suppressors, and tactical gear.

Reliable Urban Loot Locations

If you prefer faster looting and close-quarters fights, drop near Fort Lyndon’s city districts. These areas have dense buildings, short sightlines, and plenty of weapon spawns for early combat.

  • The Marina – Packed with SMGs and shotguns; ideal for early PvP.
  • Downtown – Balanced loot variety with frequent squad encounters.
  • Boutique District – Consistent attachment drops and rare pistols; solid choice for solo runs.
Tip: Always clear rooftops and upper floors first — most loot crates spawn inside offices and storage rooms rather than open streets.

3.2 Chests and Legendary Ground Loot

In Battlefield RedSec, there are multiple ways to loot, ranging from normal to legendary ground loot, as well as chests, trucks, and safes scattered across different POIs. You’ll find two main types of chests — normal chests and orange chests, with the latter offering higher-tier loot and valuable gadgets like Air-Strike or UAV Drone. When rotating between zones, always check trucks or vans to restock on ammo and other essentials.

For Weapon Safes, many locations also feature locked safes that require the Engineer class or an Engineer teammate to unlock using a repair tool, rewarding you with rare kitted weapons.

For Legendary Ground Loot, these are gold-tier weapons that come fully equipped with the best attachments and spawn randomly in high-tier loot POIs such as Ground Zero. A solid strategy is to land early at these zones and carefully search every corner, as some legendary weapons can even spawn above rocks or elevated spots—so don’t skip them while looting.

3.3 Tips for Loot Locations

  • The Combat training is the military compound on the map’s outskirts is a prime spot for stocking up on high-end ground loot.
  • Evac Bravo is located near the edge, and this military evac zone provides great gear for squads who want to loot up quickly.

  • Boutique District is an urban zone similar to Downtown, and it offers excellent loot, but multiple enemies.
  • Ground Zero is home to top-tier equipment but is likely a central point of conflict.
  • The houses in this suburban neighborhood provide good equipment with decent cover in Vista Hills.
  • Beyond the standard POIs, you can find high-quality items in special locations like safes, vehicle trucks, and tank vaults.
  • The safe requires bolt cutters to open and contain valuable gear, and the keycards are required to open tank vaults to obtain powerful armored vehicles.
