Arknights: Endfield Complete Gacha System Guide

Don't waste pulls on Arknights: Endfield. Learn why you need 120 pulls for guaranteed characters, how pity carry-over works, and clear up the missconceptions circulating online about the game's pity system using this complete guide.

Arknights Endfield Complete Gacha System GuideArknights: Endfield’s gacha system is built around clear “safety nets.” You have Basic Headhunting (standard), Chartered Headhunting (rate-up), New Horizons (new player), and a separate weapon banner system called Arsenal Issue. This guide breaks down everything you need to know about pulling, pity systems, banners, and weapons.

1. Arknights: Endfield’s Character Gacha Basics

Every single pull for a character in Arknights: Endfield costs 500 Originium (premium currency). A 10-pull costs 5,000 Originium. The game’s currency acquisition rate is significantly higher than that of other major gacha games, making pulls more accessible to free-to-play players.

Below are the general pity chances in Arknights: Endfield:

  • 6-star characters (featured): 0.8% chance per pull
  • 5-star characters: 0.8% chance per pull (guaranteed one every 10 pulls)
  • 4-star characters: Remaining percentage

Endfield uses two separate pity systems working in parallel, not one combined system. This distinction is critical for planning pulls.

System 1: 80-Pull Pity (The 50/50 Guarantee)

  • At 80 pulls, you’re guaranteed a 6-star character
  • This 6-star is always a 50/50: either the featured character or a random 6-star from the standard pool
  • This pity carries over to the next limited banner
  • You can fail the 50/50 multiple times in a row (no “guaranteed next time” mechanic exists)
  • The counter resets after each 6-star pull

The 80-pull pity carries forward between banners. If you reach 79 pulls without a 6-star on Banner A, you keep that progress. On Banner B, you only need one more pull for a guaranteed 6-star.

System 2: 120-Pull Spark (The Hard Guarantee)

  • Activates after failing the 50/50 at the 80th pull
  • Pulls between 81-119 work independently from the 50/50
  • At exactly 120 pulls total, you receive the featured character guaranteed
  • This spark does not carry over to the next banner (resets to zero)
  • If you get the featured character before 120, the spark disappears permanently
  • Only one spark exists per limited banner

If you stop at 119 pulls without reaching the spark, that progress resets to zero on the next banner. It is recommended that you push through until the 120th pull to ensure you get the featured character.

2. All Arknights: Endfield Character Banner Types

Characters Availability

  • Featured banner slot: One character per banner (2-3 weeks)
  • Bonus pool appearances: Newly-released characters may appear in previous banners (e.g., Ivonne + Gilberta in Laevatain’s banner)
  • Three-banner window: Each character remains accessible for a total of 3 consecutive banners before rotating out
  • Future reruns: Characters return periodically (exact schedule varies by developer announcements)
  • Standard banner: Featured characters do NOT enter the permanent standard pool after rotation ends—you must pull during their active period

New Horizons Headhunting

The only completely free limited banner that requires no premium currency.

  • Uses special permits earned only through story progression
  • Completing the banner guarantees one 6-star operator
  • No ties to character rotation; always available

3. Urgent Recruitment and Dossier System in Arknights: Endfield

Arknights: Endfield rewards consistent pulling with two distinct bonus systems, Urgent Recruitment and Dossier System, that activate at different milestone intervals.

Urgent Recruitment (30-Pull Bonus)

After 30 pulls on a limited banner:

  • Receive a free 10-pull ticket usable immediately on the same banner
  • This free 10-pull does not count toward pity or spark progression
  • Any characters pulled from this free ticket do not affect guarantees
  • You keep all pulled characters without consequences
  • Use it or lose it on the current banner

You can always use this system at any point during the banner to get extra value without risking pity.

Dossier System (60-Pull Bonus)

After 60 pulls on a limited banner:

  • Receive a Headhunting Dossier (special 10-pull ticket)
  • This ticket applies only to the NEXT banner
  • Cannot be saved or transferred to future banners
  • Expires when the next banner ends (mandatory use)
  • Does not count toward pity or spark on the next banner
  • If you skip the next banner, the dossier is lost permanently

Unlike Urgent Recruitment, this Bonus forces you to pull on the next banner or lose the ticket.

4. Weapon Gacha in Arknights: Endfield

Weapon pulls in Arknights: Endfield require Arsenal Tickets, earned separately from character pulls:

  • Weekly activities: Regular repeatable missions
  • Credit store: Purchase with in-game currency
  • Protocol pass: Free and paid tier rewards
  • Bundle purchases: Special promotional packages

Each weapon 10-pull costs approximately 2,000 Arsenal Tickets (always 10-pull minimum; single pulls unavailable):

  • 6-star weapon base rate: 4%
  • Featured weapon rate (when pulling 6-star): 25%
  • Non-featured 6-star rate (each): 12.5%
  • Guaranteed 5-star or higher: Every 10 pulls

Featured weapons remain on banners for three weapon rotation cycles, matching character banner windows. If you miss a weapon, it may not return for months.

Weapon Gacha Pity System

Unlike character banners, the weapon system uses hard guarantees at fixed intervals.

  • 40 pulls (4 issues of 10): Guaranteed 6-star weapon (25% chance of featured)
  • 80 pulls (8 issues of 10): Guaranteed featured weapon (with no 50/50)
  • 100 pulls (10 issues of 10): Arms Offering Crate (free choice of any non-featured 6-star weapon)
  • Every 8 issues after 80: Alternates between featured weapon or Arms Offering Crate

This means that in Arknights: Endfield, there are no 50/50 on weapons; you will always get the featured weapon guaranteed at the 80th pull.
