Arknights: Endfield – Best Weapons Tier List

Dominate Arknights: Endfield with the best Weapon Tier List. From S-Tier meta weapons to D-Tier niche tools, discover the best weapons, ideal rotations, and team setups to maximize every operator’s potential.

Arknights Endfield weapons tier listWeapons in Arknights: Endfield are core to combat identity: they not only provide raw stats but also unique passive effects that trigger based on gameplay conditions such as SP recovery, status infliction, skills cast, or reactions.

There are five weapon types — Swords, Greatswords, Polearms, Handcannons, and Arts Units — and each operator can only equip weapons of their type. A weapon’s value isn’t measured by its ATK alone: its passive must be aligned with an operator’s kit and its combat rotation.

2.1 Thermite Cutter (Sword)

Thermite Cutter

Thermite Cutter

Thermite Cutter grants a teamwide ATK buff whenever the wielder recovers SP or grants a Link state, applying a stackable buff that lasts 20 seconds and can have up to two stacks active simultaneously.

  • Passive: After the wielder’s skill recovers SP or grants a Link state, the entire team gains ATK +14% for 20s (max 2 stacks, duration counted per stack).
  • Playstyle: Frequent SP generation + skill cycling.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Akekuri — SMITH (Support & Thermite Cutter holder): Builds SP repeatedly to trigger ATK buffs.
  • Arclight / Laevatain / Endministrator — Main DPS: Converts buffs into high damage output over sustained fights.
  • Wulfgard / Pogranichnik — Secondary DPS/Debuffer: Applies status effects (Heat, Vulnerability) to maximize damage.
  • Ardelia — Healing and Corrosion support: Keeps the team alive and contributes corrosion debuff for additional synergy.

This setup prioritizes continuous ATK buff uptime rather than burst windows.

Combat Rotation

  1. Open on Akekuri — Build SP: Begin the fight with Akekuri on the field. Use basic attacks repeatedly to quickly accumulate SP. Unlike burst weapons, you don’t want to wait too long — start generating SP immediately so you can trigger the passive early.
  2. Trigger First Buff: Once Akekuri’s SP gauge fills, activate her Battle Skill right away. This will recover SP and activate Thermite Cutter’s ATK buff for the team. You should see the ATK buff icon appear at the top of the screen.
  3. Swap to Primary DPS — Utilize the Buff Window: Immediately switch to your main DPS (e.g., Arclight or Laevatain). Because Thermite Cutter’s buff is active, your DPS will deal increased damage on all attacks and skills.
  4. Monitor SP Cooldowns: As your DPS fights, keep an eye on Akekuri’s Battle Skill cooldown and SP gauge. You aim to use the next SP recovery before the first buff expires — ideally, refreshing with time left on the first stack so you can reach two overlapping stacks.
  5. Refresh Buff — Return to Akekuri: Once Akekuri’s skill is ready again, swap back and use her skill to trigger Thermite Cutter a second time. With good timing, you’ll have two active stacks of ATK buff (each lasting 20s independently), greatly amplifying your entire team’s damage.
  6. Continuous Cycling: Continue cycling between Akekuri (to trigger buffs) and your DPS (to deal damage). The key is overlapping buffs and maximizing uptime rather than waiting for perfect clear moments. Because two stacks can overlap, timing refreshes before the first expires is crucial.

2.2 Forgeborn Scathe (Sword)

Forgeborn scathe

Forgeborn Scathe

Forgeborn Scathe is a six-star sword that specializes in Heat damage scaling. Unlike Thermite Cutter, which focuses on team buffs, Forgeborn Scathe is built for burst damage windows, particularly for operators who rely on Basic Attacks after casting their Ultimate.

  • Passive: After casting an Ultimate, increases Basic Attack damage significantly for 20 seconds.
  • Playstyle: Timing your Ultimate to align with damage windows is essential to maximize output.

This weapon is best used in team compositions that can apply Heat consistently, enabling your main DPS to dominate during the 20s post-Ultimate window.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Laevatain — Main DPS & Forgeborn Scathe Holder: Focuses on using Basic Attacks immediately after casting her Ultimate.
  • Akekuri — SP Support & Secondary Buffs: Generates SP quickly for Laevatain and can trigger team ATK buffs if dual-wielding passive triggers exist.
  • Arclight — Electric Secondary DPS: Adds consistent damage while Laevatain’s Heat damage is on cooldown.
  • Pogranichnik — Debuffer: Applies Vulnerability/Physical debuffs to amplify total team damage.
  • Ardelia — Healing & Corrosion Support: Maintains team health and inflicts Corrosion for synergy with Heat damage.

This composition prioritizes burst windows, allowing Laevatain to hit her peak damage every 20s when the weapon passive triggers.

Combat Rotation

  1. Pre‑Fight Buffs: Before engaging the main wave, have Ardelia or other operators apply Corrosion or Heat to enemies. This ensures Laevatain’s Heat scaling triggers optimally during her rotation.
  2. Position Laevatain: Start the fight with Laevatain in a safe position where she can attack continuously. Use basic attacks to keep Heat stacks or debuffs ticking.
  3. SP Generation: Use Akekuri or other SP generation methods to fill Laevatain’s Ultimate gauge as quickly as possible. Aim to cast Ultimate at the first opportunity for the post-Ultimate Basic Attack buff.
  4. Cast Ultimate — Trigger Passive: As soon as Laevatain’s Ultimate is ready, cast it. This immediately activates Forgeborn Scathe’s passive, enhancing all Basic Attacks for 20 seconds.
  5. Maximize Basic Attacks: Focus exclusively on Basic Attacks during the 20s buff window. Use multi-hit skills that scale off Basic Attack if applicable. This is the highest damage phase.
  6. Rotate Secondary DPS: While waiting for Laevatain’s next Ultimate cooldown, switch to Arclight or other DPS to maintain damage. Ensure Corrosion or Heat debuffs remain active to prepare for the next Laevatain rotation.
  7. Repeat Cycle: Continue filling Ultimate, casting, and attacking in a loop. The key to maintaining high DPS is consistent timing of Ultimate casts and never missing the 20s Basic Attack buff window.

2.3 Sundered Prince (Greatsword)

Sundered Prince

Sundered Prince

Sundered Prince is a 6★ Greatsword that excels at burst damage through Final Strike mechanics and adds Stagger utility when manually controlling the wielder. Sundered Prince’s passive, Crusher: Princely Deterrence, buffs the wielder’s ATK after landing a Final Strike on an enemy, and if the wielder is the controlled operator, the ATK bonus is doubled, and that Final Strike also increases Stagger applied to the target.

  • Passive: When the wielder performs a Final Strike on an enemy, they gain a significant ATK buff for 8s. If the wielder is the controlled operator, the buff is doubled, and the Final Strike also applies increased Stagger to the enemy.
  • Playstyle: Timing and controlled engagement. You want to actively control the operator to maximize stagger and ATK buffs.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Last Rite — Main DPS: Manual control to trigger Final Strikes and activate stagger and ATK buff.
  • Snowshine — Tank & Crowd Control: Keeps enemies positioned and vulnerable, creating predictable windows for Final Strike setups.
  • Xaihi — Crowd Control & Setup: Adds additional control effects (knockdowns, slow) to help land Final Strikes efficiently.
  • Ardelia — Healing & Corrosion support: Maintains team sustain and helps manage enemy defenses for repeated stagger opportunities.

This composition focuses on controlled engagements where Sundered Prince’s passive maximizes ATK and stagger to burst down tougher foes.

Combat Rotation

  1. Position for Controlled Engagement: Start battles with your unit positioned to isolate high‑priority enemies. Sundered Prince relies on strong hits (Final Strikes), so you want clean windows without too many interruptions.
  2. Engage with Snowshine First: Use Snowshine to initiate crowd control (knockdowns, roots). This allows you to predict movement windows and set up a clean Final Strike opportunity for Last Rite.
  3. Set Up with Xaihi: Xaihi’s crowd control skills (AoE slows or movement impairment) help maintain enemy positioning, ensuring they stay in one place long enough for a controlled Final Strike.
  4. Switch to Last Rite — Manual Control: When Last Rite is in position and the enemy is in a predictable state, take direct control of her. Your goal is to land a Final Strike instead of simply auto‑attacking — this is what triggers the weapon’s passive.
  5. Execute Final Strike to Trigger Passive: Upon landing the Final Strike, Last Rite gains a significant ATK buff for 8 seconds. If you were in manual control, the buff is doubled, and the Final Strike also applies extra Stagger to the enemy. This is your primary burst window.
  6. Capitalize on the Buff Window: After the Final Strike, follow up immediately with Last Rite’s strongest skills and heavy hits while the ATK buff is active. This is your peak damage phase.
  7. Reposition & Reset for Next Window: Once the buff expires, rotate back to Snowshine or Xaihi as needed to set up the next controlled engagement. Avoid casting another Final Strike too soon on poorly positioned enemies — you want clean setups.

3. A-Tier

3.1 Khravengger (Sword)

Khravengger

Khravengger

Khravengger is a 6★ Sword built entirely around Cryo Infliction → Skill Damage loops. Unlike burst-window weapons, Khravengger rewards frequent skill usage and Cryo uptime, stacking damage bonuses when Cryo is applied and further amplifying combo skills against Cryo-inflicted enemies.

This weapon does not compete with raw ATK buffers like Thermite Cutter but instead excels in Cryo-centric rotations where skills are chained continuously.

  • Passive: After an enemy is inflicted with Cryo, the wielder gains increased Skill Damage. Additional bonuses are applied when Combo Skills hit Cryo-affected targets, stacking multiplicatively with Cryo debuffs.
  • Playstyle: This weapon demands continuous Cryo uptime and frequent skill usage. You are not waiting for a burst window — instead, you are maintaining pressure by rotating skills on cooldown and refreshing Cryo before it expires. Try to upkeep Cryo, as its drop causes a noticeable DPS loss.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Last Rite — Main DPS & Khravengger holder: Manual control to maintain near-permanent Cryo uptime through frequent Battle Skills. Responsible for triggering Khravengger’s skill-damage passive and anchoring sustained DPS throughout the encounter.
  • Arclight — Secondary DPS & Combo Skill finisher: Capitalizes on Cryo-inflicted enemies by chaining Combo Skills during uptime windows. Provides consistent follow-up damage without disrupting Cryo refresh timing.
  • Pogranichnik — Debuffer & Vulnerability support: Applies Vulnerability and defense-reducing effects to amplify sustained damage output. Helps stabilize DPS scaling during long fights where burst timing is less important.
  • Ardelia — Healing & Corrosion support: Maintains team survivability and enables secondary reaction layering through Corrosion, helping prevent DPS loss during extended engagements.

This team focuses on continuous Cryo uptime, not burst windows.

Combat Rotation

  1. Open With Cryo Application: Start combat by immediately using Last Rite’s Battle Skill to apply Cryo Infliction.
  2. Trigger Khravengger Passive: The first Cryo application activates Khravengger’s Cryo Skill Damage bonus.
  3. Chain Skills, Don’t Hold Them: Unlike burst weapons, you should spam skills on cooldown. Each skill use increases Khravengger’s value.
  4. Combo Skill Timing: When Cryo is active, swap to Arclight and use combo skills to exploit the increased Cryo damage multiplier.
  5. Reapply Cryo Before Expiry: Never let Cryo fall off. Refresh it early, not late.
  6. Sustain Loop: Ardelia keeps the team alive while Pogranichnik adds Vulnerability for extra scaling.

3.2 Rapid Ascent (Sword)

Rapid Ascent

Rapid Ascent

Rapid Ascent is a 6★ Sword built exclusively for short, controlled burst windows created by Stagger and Knockdown effects. Unlike sustained DPS weapons, Rapid Ascent compresses nearly all of its value into a few seconds, heavily rewarding teams that can reliably force enemy control states.

  • Passive: Increases Battle Skill and Ultimate damage. Gains a large additional damage bonus when attacking Staggered or Knocked-Down enemies.
  • Playstyle: Do not attack freely. You wait, force control, then unload everything inside the Stagger window. Any skill used outside Stagger is effectively wasted.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Endministrator — Main DPS: Manual control to ensure Battle Skills and Ultimate are only used during confirmed Stagger windows, maximizing Rapid Ascent’s conditional damage bonuses.
  • Wulfgard — Frontline & Stagger setup: Applies heavy attacks and pressure to reliably induce Stagger, acting as the primary setup unit for burst windows.
  • Snowshine — Tank & Crowd Control: Provides knockdowns, freezes, and positional control to stabilize Stagger timing and prevent enemies from escaping burst setups.
  • Ardelia — Healing & sustain support: Maintains team survivability during downtime phases and allows repeated Stagger cycles without risking collapse.

Combat Rotation

  1. Stagger Setup Phase: Open with Wulfgard heavy attacks and Snowshine control skills to build Stagger. Do not swap early.
  2. Confirm Control State: Visually confirm the enemy is Staggered or Knocked Down. This confirmation is mandatory.
  3. Swap to Endministrator: Immediately swap once Stagger is active. Timing matters more than speed.
  4. Battle Skill First: Use Battle Skill to benefit from Rapid Ascent’s amplified skill damage.
  5. Ultimate Immediately After: Chain Ultimate while Stagger persists to dump maximum burst.
  6. Disengage and Reset: Once control ends, stop DPS and return to setup characters.

3.3 Umbral Torch (Sword)

Umbral Torch

Umbral Torch

Umbral Torch is a 6★ Sword centered around reaction frequency and ramping damage rather than immediate output. It gains power as Heat-based reactions are repeatedly triggered, making it exceptionally strong in prolonged fights where Combustion and Corrosion can be maintained continuously.

  • Passive: Triggering Heat-based reactions increases Heat damage and reaction effectiveness, stacking up to a cap and refreshing on each trigger.
  • Playstyle: You play Umbral Torch by never allowing reactions to stop. Damage ramps steadily over time and falls off sharply if reaction chains break.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Laevatain — Main DPS & Umbral Torch holder: Manual control to continuously apply Heat through Battle Skills, sustaining reaction stacks, and maintaining ramping damage.

3.4 Detonation Unit (Arts Unit)

Detonation Unit

Detonation Unit

Detonation Unit is a 6★ Arts weapon focused on amplifying teamwide damage rather than the wielder’s personal output. Its strength lies in increasing enemy Arts Damage Taken after the wielder applies an Arts Burst, creating a high-value window for Arts-centric DPS operators.

  • Passive: After casting an Arts Burst, affected enemies take 14.4% increased Arts damage for 15 seconds. The debuff does not refresh automatically and is applied only after a Burst, so timing and team coordination are crucial.
  • Playstyle: The weapon is played by opening combat with the Burst, then immediately rotating to primary Arts DPS operators to maximize damage within the 15-second window.

Optimal Team Composition

  • Pogranichnik — Arts Debuffer: Manual control to apply Burst and start rotation.
  • Laevatain — Main DPS: Focuses on Heavy Arts skills to exploit the 15-second debuff window.
