Stable Housing is a quest introduced with the Shrouded Sky update in Arc Raiders. The mission sends you to the Security Bridge building in Stella Montis, where you must locate a locked safe, attempt to generate a keycard from a control room terminal, and eventually uncover the safe code hidden nearby.
While the quest itself is straightforward, the Lobby area of Stella Montis is a high-traffic location, meaning you may encounter ARC units and other Raiders while completing it and successfully opening the safe, which rewards you with Project Heartwood Blueprints, which must be extracted safely to finish the quest.
1. Stable Housing Quest Objective
This quest focuses on exploration rather than combat, but navigating the multi-floor Security Bridge quickly will make the run much easier. Extracting with the blueprint unlocks valuable rewards and progress with Tian Wen. Here are all the key details for the Stable Housing quest:
- Quest giver: Tian Wen (Base)
- Location: Security Bridge, Stella Montis
- Main objective: Locate and unlock the safe inside the building
- Key item: Project Heartwood Blueprints
- Reward: Seeker Grenades, Lure Grenades, and Snap Hook
2. Reach the Security Bridge Building
Your first objective is to get inside the Security Bridge building, located above the Lobby area in Stella Montis. The Lobby is one of the largest indoor zones on the map and often attracts early player movement.
- Deploy into Stella Montis after accepting the quest from Tian Wen.
- Head toward the Lobby POI in the northeast section of the map.
- Look for the tall structure overlooking the lobby floor, which is the Security Bridge.
- Enter the building through the ground-level or stairwell entrances.
- Begin climbing toward the upper floors using the interior staircases or ziplines.
Expect to encounter ARC enemies, such as Fireballs and Pop Rollers, in the lobby area. Clearing them early prevents them from following you up the stairwells.
3. Find the Locked Safe (Third Floor)
Once inside the Security Bridge, the next step is locating the locked safe that contains the quest item.
- Use the central stairwell inside the building to climb to the third floor.
- Look for a small side room near the stairwell landing.
- Inside the room, locate the safe placed on a desk.
- Interact with the safe to trigger the next quest step.
At this stage, the safe cannot be opened yet, and the quest directs you to attempt to create a keycard from the building’s control room.
4. Use the Access Card Printer
The next step requires you to use a terminal in the control room on the fourth floor.
- Continue climbing the stairs to reach the fourth floor of the building.
- Enter the control room located beside the staircase.
- Locate the Access Card Printer terminal with a keyboard interface.
- Interact with the terminal to attempt printing a keycard.
The machine will fail to create the keycard, meaning the safe must be opened using a different method. This event triggers the final objective: locating the safe’s code.
5. Find the Safe Code and Unlock the Safe
After the printer fails, the safe code can be found nearby inside the same building.
- Return to the third-floor safe room where the locked safe is located.
- Look near the room entrance for a notice board attached to the wall.
- Interact with the note pinned to the board.
- Inspect the note to reveal the safe code: 2746.
- Approach the safe again and enter the code 2746.
- Open the safe and collect the Project Heartwood Blueprints.
Once the blueprint is in your inventory, the quest objective changes to extraction.
6. Stable Housing Completion Reward
After collecting the Project Heartwood Blueprints, your final priority is leaving the raid safely.
- Exit the Security Bridge building.
- Move toward the nearest extraction point in Stella Montis.
- Avoid unnecessary fights while carrying the quest item.
- Successfully extract and return to Tian Wen to complete the mission.
Completing the Stable Housing quest rewards you with:
- 5× Seeker Grenades
- 5× Lure Grenades
- 1× Snap Hook
The Snap Hook is particularly valuable, providing improved mobility and traversal options for future raids.
