Arc Raiders Guide – How to Get Dolabra Blueprint

The Dolabra is one of the best weapons in the ARC Raiders Flashpoint update, but getting the blueprint is anything but straightforward. Here is everything you need to know about tracking it down and crafting this Legendary energy shotgun.

Notably, the Dolabra is the first Legendary weapon that does not require a Queen or Matriarch core, making it more accessible than previous Legendaries — though the materials are still rare.

1. Dolabra Fire Modes & Stats

  • Hipfire: Fires a wide cone of energy — best for close-range encounters and clearing grouped enemies.
  • Aim Down Sights (ADS): Collapses into a precise laser blast — ideal for focused damage on tough ARCs like the Vaporizer.
  • PvP: The focused ADS beam breaks a heavy shield in two hits, and the fire rate is fast enough to land both shots before an opponent can dodge-roll away.
  • Magazine: Holds 8 rounds, fires semi-automatically, and has a base durability of 100.
  • Performance: Performs exceptionally well against the Vaporizer and Shredder.
  • Ammo – Energy Clip: Craft using Advanced ARC Powercells and Batteries, or purchase from Tian Wen for 3,000 Coins per clip.

Tip: Energy Clips are expensive to buy and take materials to craft — stock up before heading into a Close Scrutiny run where you’ll be using the Dolabra heavily.

2. Dolabra Blueprint Location

The Dolabra blueprint can only be obtained as a random drop that you can get from breaching Assessors during the Close Scrutiny map condition. Every time you breach an Assessor and search it, you have a chance to find the blueprint for the Dolabra.

The blueprint is not a guaranteed drop, and you will need to farm Assessors.

Alternative: You can technically skip the blueprint grind by looting the Dolabra off another raider’s body, but that only gives you the weapon for a single raid. The blueprint lets you craft it whenever you want, so it’s worth farming for.

  1. Load into a Close Scrutiny Map: These rotate every hour across the Rust Belt locations and can be accessed for one hour, like most heavy map conditions. The event is available on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate — but not Stella Montis
  2. Find the Assessor: Wait for the Assessor probe to spawn and descend onto the map. You’ll see a small icon on your map denoting the Assessor’s location. Choose the one nearest to your location.
  3. Watch Multiple Beams: Multiple Assessors can be active on the map simultaneously, so keep scanning the sky for new red beams throughout the match to maximize your breach attempts.
  4. Deal with ARC: Up to three Vaporizers, Hornets, and Wasps guard the Assessor, so watch out when going for the breach.
  5. Speed-farm method: Use an empty loadout with a smoke grenade and adrenaline shots to be first at the Assessor — breach one chamber, safe-pocket the blueprint, and surrender immediately.
  6. Breach All Three Containers: Each Assessor has three chambers that unlock sequentially — breach one, an ARC wave spawns, clear it, and the next chamber opens.
  7. Put Blueprint in Safepocket: After getting the blueprint from the Assessor, put it in your safe pocket. Blueprints are consumed on use via the “Learn and Consume” option at Speranza.
  8. Extract Safely: Make sure to take a Raider Hatch Key so you can escape through a Raider Hatch immediately after securing the blueprint.

4. Recommended Loadout for Dolabra Blueprint

Going into a Close Scrutiny raid unprepared is a fast way to lose your gear. The Assessor is heavily guarded by Vaporizers, Rocketeers, and other hostile ARCs — so every item in your loadout needs to earn its place. Here is what to bring:

  • Photoelectric Cloak: Non-negotiable. Without it, attempting the Assessor means facing three Vaporizers and a Rocketeer head-on.
  • Smoke Grenade: Throw it onto the Assessor platform before you begin breaching to break line of sight with ARC patrols.
  • Primary Weapon: Bring a strong ARC-slaying option like the Hullcracker or Aphelion — both handle Vaporizers effectively.
  • Secondary Weapon: Pair it with an S-tier option like the Venator or Bobcat for PvP situations, since other Raiders will be competing for the same Assessor loot.
  • Healing: Pack plenty of Herbal Bandages, Vita Shots, or Vita Spray alongside Shield Rechargers — you will need them if the breach goes sideways.

5. How to Craft Dolabra

Once you extract the blueprint and learn it at Speranza, head to your Gunsmith Station. It is important to remember that you need to have a Level 3 Gunsmith Station before you can craft the Dolabra. You’ll need the following materials.

Material Amount How to Get
Shredder Gyro Scavenged from destroyed Shredders, found in Blue Gate, Buried City, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds (during map conditions).
Magnetic Accelerator Exodus-tier material found as loot in Stella Montis or dropped by Matriarchs and Queens. Can also be crafted at your workbench using 2× Advanced Mechanical Components and 2× ARC Motion Cores to avoid boss encounters.
Vaporizer Regulator Dropped by the Vaporizer enemy added in the Flashpoint update. Only found during the Close Scrutiny map condition — defeat the Vaporizer and loot its corpse.

6. Is Dolabra Good for PvP?

Yes, the Dolabra is very good for both PvP and PvE to the point where many expect it to get nerfed soon. The Dolabra sits firmly in S-tier for close-range PvP after the Flashpoint patch.

For PvE, the regular hipfire launches a cone of devastating energy that shreds ARC plating, so it’s a great option for taking down Matriarch and Queens when shooting down their cores.
