Puzzles in Arc Raiders are unique challenges scattered throughout the world that reward players with hidden loot, secret rooms, and special items. On Blue Gates, these puzzles not only offer valuable rewards like purple and gold-tier loot but also unlock crafting blueprints that help improve your gear.
Some challenges require carrying items such as fuel cells or batteries, which can affect your movement and combat, making teamwork and strategy especially important.
All Blue Gate Puzzle Locations
The Blue Gate serves as a hub for a series of locked doors filled with advanced ARC parts. Puzzles are often tied to these doors, requiring exploration and problem-solving. There are a total of seven puzzles on Blue Gates. The first one is located at Ancient Fort. Completing these puzzles can unlock new crafting blueprints, and loot chests often contain purple or gold-tier items.
Some puzzles require you to carry items like fuel cells or batteries, which may restrict weapon use or mobility. Plan your approach carefully to balance combat and puzzle-solving.
Tip: Prioritize puzzles that align with your current goals—whether it’s gathering loot, collecting ARC parts, or unlocking blueprints for crafting.
1. Ancient Fort Puzzle
The Ancient Fort Puzzle in Arc Raiders challenges players to unlock a locked bunker by depositing three fusion cells into three relay points scattered around the fort. Completing this puzzle rewards you with a weapons case and various loot.
How to complete the Ancient Fort Puzzle
1. Approach the bunker door
- Walk to the bunker door (the puzzle won’t start until you deposit all three fusion cells).
-
Stand where you can see the door and the nearby wall — you’ll use that as your reference point.
2. Find the three relays
- Turn to the wall just beside the bunker door and look for Relay A — interactable panel or small console.
- Climb the first set of stairs and find Relay B at the top — an interactable panel.
- Go to the ladder that leads to the fort’s top and find Relay C near the ladder — interactable panel.
-
Confirm you can interact with each relay (press the usual interact key/button to highlight it).
3. Collect fusion cells
- Clear the immediate area of enemies so you can search safely.
- Search crates and wooden pallets across Ancient Fort — these are the spawn points.
- Focus on wooden pallets on the ground first; they are the most likely spawns.
-
Continue searching until you have 3 fusion cells (there are 11 possible spawn locations total, so check every pallet and crate methodically).
4. Deposit fusion cells
- Walk to Relay A (near the bunker door). Interact with the relay and insert one fusion cell when prompted. Look for a visual cue (light or animation).
- Walk to Relay B (top of the first stairs). Interact with Relay B and insert the second fusion cell. Confirm the relay shows it’s powered.
-
Walk to Relay C (near the ladder). Interact and insert the third fusion cell. Confirm all three relays show active/powered.
5. Verify and open the bunker door
- After inserting the third cell, watch the bunker door — it should unlock and open automatically.
- If the door doesn’t open: Revisit each relay and ensure the relay shows “powered” or a green light. If one relay is unpowered, interact and re-insert a fusion cell (you might have missed the confirmation prompt).
6. Enter and claim rewards
- Enter the bunker once the door opens.
- Open the weapons case and loot all visible containers.
-
Search the bunker carefully — loot may be in multiple containers and floor piles.
Tips
- Solo players may take longer due to searching for fusion cell spawns.
-
In a squad, split up to cover all possible spawn locations for faster completion.
2. Raider’s Refuge Puzzle
The Raider’s Refuge Puzzle is the second puzzle in Arc Raiders. Located at an empty church with a locked bunker door, this challenge requires players to activate four switches randomly chosen from 24 possible locations inside and around the church. Completing the puzzle opens the bunker and rewards you with loot and valuable items.
How to complete the Raider’s Refuge Puzzle
Step 1: Locate the Bunker Door
- Head to the empty church and find the locked bunker door nearby — this is where the puzzle starts.
-
Use the bunker door as your main reference point for spotting nearby switches scattered around the area.
Step 2: Find All Switch Locations
Do this before activating anything — just locate them first.
- Check the exterior walls of the church — inspect each corner; switches are usually mounted close to the wall edges.
- Go inside the church — look around the pews and along the back wall for hidden switches.
- Move to the outer scaffolding — one switch is tucked beside the scaffolding.
- Climb to the upstairs couch area — from here, you can spot about five switches across nearby structures.
- Move forward from the couch area — you’ll see two more switches on either side as you progress.
- Head to the rooftop — this vantage point reveals four of the six roof switches.
-
Look toward the final corner across from the last rooftop position — you’ll find the remaining two switches there.
Take note of where most switches are so you can return quickly during activation.
Step 3: Activate the Correct Switches
- There are 24 possible switches in total, but only 4 are correct each time — the combination is random on every run.
- Start near the bunker door and activate switches one by one.
- If you hear a confirmation tone or light indicator, that switch is correct — move to the next.
- If nothing happens, it’s the wrong switch — deactivate it and try another.
-
Once you’ve activated all four correct switches, the bunker door will unlock automatically.
Step 4: Enter the Bunker and Collect Rewards
- When the door opens, head inside immediately — the puzzle is complete.
- Loot the weapons case, check for security breach rewards, and search every container for bonus loot.
-
Once done, exit and reset the area if you plan to rerun it for additional rewards.
Tips
- All switches are located close to each other, so you don’t need to wander far.
- Use recommended vantage points to quickly spot multiple switches at once.
- Keep an eye on the rooftop and corners, as these often hide several switch locations.
3. Deforester Husks Puzzle
The Deforester Husks Puzzle in Arc Raiders consists of two similar puzzles located at:
- Between Broken Earth and Ridgeline
-
Just to the left of the adorned wreckage
Both puzzles involve a large space station–like structure and require 3 Arc Power Cells to complete. Successfully solving the puzzle rewards players with loot and other valuable items.
How to complete the Deforester Husks Puzzle
Step 1: Locate the Structure
- Head to either of the two possible husk locations on the map — look for a large, walkable space-station-style structure.
- Approach the structure and search for electrified panels — these panels mark the start of the puzzle.
-
Make sure the area is clear of enemies before beginning; once started, the puzzle is timed and dangerous.
Step 2: Insert Arc Power Cells
- Find the three interactors (control panels) scattered around the structure.
- Two of these panels require Arc Power Cells to activate.
- Locate Arc Power Cells nearby (they’re usually on the floor or beside machinery).
- Pick up each Arc Power Cell and insert it into its corresponding panel.
-
Once both are powered, the puzzle sequence activates automatically — flames will begin firing.
Step 3: Navigate the Flames
- As soon as you activate the second panel, flames will start spewing across the interior of the husk.
- Watch the flame patterns and move only when it’s safe.
- After the second panel is powered, the upper platform begins to rotate, and the flames rotate with it, creating moving hazards instead of static ones.
-
Stay patient — move between flame bursts to avoid taking damage and having to restart.
Step 4: Reach the Final Panel
- Climb the side of the structure and jump onto the upper platform — this shortcut saves valuable time (the puzzle is on a timer).
- Once on the platform, follow the rotation of the flames instead of running against them.
-
Carefully weave through the moving flames until you reach the final control panel.
Step 5: Complete the Puzzle and Claim Rewards
- Interact with the final panel to complete the puzzle.
- Wait for the confirmation sound or visual cue — this means the challenge is complete.
- The reward container will unlock nearby.
-
Open the loot chest to claim your weapons case and additional items.
Tips
- Timing and precision are key—watch flame patterns carefully.
- Climbing and jumping to the upper platform early can save precious seconds.
-
Bring friends for easier completion, especially if attempting both husks in a single run.
4. Color Code Security Wing – Reinforced Reception Puzzle
The Color Code Puzzle in Arc Raiders is a color-based navigation challenge that uses wall markings as clues. Completing it rewards you with stashes and loot hidden in the reinforced reception area.
How to complete the Color Code Security Wing Puzzle
Step 1: Reach the Reinforced Reception
- Take the zip line directly into the reinforced reception area — this is the fastest and safest route.
- If the zip line isn’t available, use alternate entry points, but note they’re slower and riskier.
-
Once inside, clear out any enemies to safely interact with the puzzle components.
Step 2: Interact with the Computer Terminal
- Find the computer terminal mounted on one of the central pillars inside the reception area.
- Approach and interact with the terminal to begin the puzzle.
- The terminal will display a color — red, blue, or yellow.
-
Wait for the terminal to flash a specific color — that color determines which route you must follow next.
Step 3: Follow the Color Markings
- After the terminal flashes a color, look around the walls for colored markings that match the terminal’s active color.
- Follow the trail of those markings carefully — they guide you toward the next objective.
-
Avoid switching directions too early; stay on the matching color path until you reach the next terminal or console.
Step 4: Locate the Stashes
- Each color path leads to a wall-mounted stash terminal — these emit a distinct humming or buzzing noise when nearby.
- Approach the stash and interact with it to collect the loot.
-
Stay alert — some stashes are hidden behind debris or low walls, so check corners and shadows.
Step 5: Adapt to Color Changes
- After you loot a stash, return to the main terminal — it will switch to a new random color.
- Wait for the new color to flash, then repeat the color-trail process.
- Continue this loop until you’ve collected all color stashes (one for each color path).
-
Once all are collected, the puzzle completes automatically, and your final loot becomes available.
Tips
- All three paths are relatively close, making navigation easier once you recognize the markings.
- Pay close attention to color flashes and wall markings—they are key to completing the puzzle efficiently.
-
Teaming up can help track color changes and locate stashes faster.
5. Batteries Security Wing – Reinforced Reception Puzzle
The Batteries Puzzle in Arc Raiders is a power-based challenge similar to the Ancient Fort puzzle. Completing it unlocks a big rafter door and rewards you with loot and weapons cases.
How to complete the Batteries Security Wing Puzzle
Step 1: Go to Northern Reinforced Reception (Security Wing)
- Go to the bottom floor in northern Reinforced Reception, and you’ll find the Color-Coded Terminal behind the big pillar.
- Now, move down the hallway until you find a large locked door.
- This door requires three batteries to power up and unlock.
-
The area is well-lit — look for battery icons or power sockets near the door to confirm you’re in the right spot.
Step 2: Collect the Batteries
- You need three batteries total. They spawn semi-randomly, but usually appear in these four reliable spots:
- Under the staircase.
- At the top of the same stairs, to the right of the door.
- On the lockers near the center of the room.
- On the wall just past the yellow paint marks near the terminal.
- Check each of these areas carefully — batteries are small and can blend with debris.
- Pick up the first three you find; no need to collect all four possible spawns.
Step 3: Deposit the Batteries
- Return to the battery door and look for the power interface (three battery slots).
- Insert each battery one by one into the slots.
-
After placing all three, you’ll see the door power up — lights will activate and the large rafter door will open automatically.
Step 4: Claim Your Rewards
- Enter the newly opened room.
- Search the area for loot — there’s always a weapons case and additional bonus items scattered around.
-
Make sure to loot everything before moving on, as the area may reset later.
Optional Step 5: Fuel Cell Puzzle (Bonus Area)
- From the loot room, follow the blue line on the floor to reach another chamber with a massive door.
- This door requires three fuel cells to open.
- All fuel cells spawn together, but their spawn location changes each time you attempt the puzzle.
- Search the immediate area for glowing fuel cells — they’re typically found against walls or near machinery.
- Deposit the three fuel cells into the power unit beside the massive door to unlock it.
-
Be ready for combat — this area is a high-traffic zone and often contested by enemies or other players.
Tips
- Keep track of battery spawn locations for faster completion.
- Be aware of other players in contested areas, especially near the fuel cell puzzle.
- Teaming up can make completing these puzzles safer and faster.
6. Harvester Puzzle Event
The Harvester Puzzle Event is a timed, multi-phase challenge found in nearly every map except Buried City. Completing it rewards players with blueprints and valuable loot, but requires coordination, timing, and careful handling of hazards.
How to complete the Harvester Puzzle
Step 1: Locate the Harvester
- Travel to the Harvester’s spawn zone based on your current map:
- Red Lakes: Southeast of the Power Generation Complex.
- Spaceport: Between the Maintenance Hangar and Staff Parking on the south side.
- Blue Gate: West of the Checkpoint.
- When you arrive, approach the Harvester structure to trigger the event.
- Clear out surrounding enemies before starting — combat will intensify once the puzzle activates.
Step 2: Collect the Fusion Cores
- You’ll need three Fusion Cores to power the Harvester.
- Search the breachable cabinets located around the Harvester.
- Phase 1: One core is on the ground in the center area.
- The other two are hidden inside cabinets on the upper levels.
- Once found, collect all three Fusion Cores and regroup near the central console.
Step 3: Insert the Fusion Cores
- All players should gather at the central console.
- Coordinate and interact simultaneously to insert all three Fusion Cores.
- Once inserted, the Harvester activates, spawning 12 yellow targets across its walls and structure.
-
Be prepared — the Harvester immediately begins offensive attacks.
Step 4: Destroy the Targets
- Shoot or melee all 12 yellow targets as quickly as possible.
- Use vertical melee attacks for low or ground-level targets.
- For high targets, use elevated platforms or grapple points if available.
- Watch the Harvester’s attack cues carefully:
- Yellow light: Incoming fire attack — retreat and take cover.
- Blue light + sound cue: Incoming EMP attack — unequip shields if you plan to stay inside.
- Keep attacking between waves — the faster you destroy targets, the fewer damage cycles you’ll face.
Step 5: Handle Retreated Targets
- If any targets retract back into the Harvester, it’s signaling a fire attack phase.
- Retreat immediately and wait for the flames to subside.
- After the fire phase ends, reinsert the Fusion Cores into the central console to resume the event.
-
Continue until all 12 targets are destroyed.
Step 6: Claim Your Rewards
- Once every target is destroyed, the Harvester opens up with a distinct sound cue.
- Approach the core area and collect your loot, which includes:
- Blueprints
- Rare crafting materials
- High-value gear or currency
- Before leaving, check the Queen’s position on your radar — ensure it’s safe to extract without being intercepted.
Tips
- Coordination is key—destroying targets and inserting Fusion Cores should be done as a team.
- Watch visual and audio cues carefully to avoid fire and EMP damage.
-
Vertical melee attacks are efficient for multiple ground-level targets.
