Top 10 Best Games Releasing In March (2026)

Welcome back to another list of what we think are the best games releasing this month. Before we talk about this month, let’s recap what happened in February. It was a pretty big month with quite a few heavy hitters. We played as both a samurai and a ninja in Nioh 3 and defeated many challenging bosses. Little Nightmares fans got their new fix of horror with Reanimal and hopefully played it with a friend. PlayStation players got to experience Avowed alongside its new update. Then we returned to some anticipated sequels with High on Life 2 and Resident Evil: Requiem. 

Now it’s time for all things March, and we’ve got ten more exciting games for you. March is filled with unique games that range from AAA wonders to Indie gems. We have a large-than-life RPG from the creators of Black Desert Online. A few cooperative and competitive shooters, a remake of a classic horror sequel and a CRPG inspired by the chaos that tabletop gaming can bring.

1. Esoteric Ebb

Become the most interesting player at the table and completely ruin your DM’s day.

To start this action-packed month is something for fans of tabletop adventures. Esoteric Ebb is an isometric Disco-like, TTRPG-turned-CRPG set in a bizarre post-Arcanepunk fantasy setting. You are The Cleric, an expert in esoteric events, and a glorified government goon. Inspired by classic CRPG games, Esoteric Ebb features deep and branching dialogue with a staggering amount of choices. Create the world’s worst cleric. Take on the city through tense TTRPG dice rolls. Struggle to maintain control with your Stats chiming in at every moment. Let the voices guide you into insane encounters and hit that natural 20 right when you need it.

Make choices that will come back to bite you. Complete open-ended quests, low and high-stakes alike, set in the streets, towers, and dark tunnels of Norvik. Use The Cleric’s power for unique narrative choices. Control minds for fun and profit. Detect secrets in the tunnels below or in the thoughts of your enemies. Speak with anyone, living or dead, just to see how they insult you. Clerics in Norvik are taught to use violence as a last resort. When the need does arise, a roll of the dice determines life or death. Let chance guide you! Roll to wrestle dwarves, steal anything in sight, or to keep yourself from looking like a complete fool. But remember, in true TTRPG fashion, failure can often be way more interesting.

2. Scott Pilgrim EX

Each playable character has their own distinct combat style.

It’s time for the return of a legend, though sadly they couldn’t make it, so I hope you enjoy Scott Pilgrim EX. Join Scott, Ramona and more on a brand-new brawling adventure across space, time, and the streets of Toronto. The city has been taken over by three rival gangs: The Vegans, The Robots, and The Demons. Alongside this, Scott’s bandmates have been abducted by shadowy forces, who could be behind the madness? Venture out on epic quests and battle new enemies and bosses across interconnected levels in a new story by series creator Bryan Lee O’Malley that will appeal to longtime fans and newcomers alike.

The combat is driven by instinct and improvisation, where you’ll dance a ballet of fists and flair that rewards strategy, spontaneity, and a good bit of brawling chaos. String together stylish combos, experiment with wacky weapons and unleash over-the-top special attacks. Characters can be upgraded with special badges that enhance their stats and grant special bonuses. Players will explore a whole city of interconnected levels to meet old and new faces, complete quests, and discover hidden areas. Multiplayer co-op, local or online, lets up to four players join in on the action, making it a fun, dynamic experience.

3. Marathon

Next up is the newest multiplayer shooter on the block from the developers who brought us Destiny. In Marathon, scavenge the lost colony of Tau Ceti IV as a bio-cybernetic Runner in this PvPvE survival extraction FPS. DLC/Update Spotlight: Ghost of Yotei: Legends

Experience the next era of Legends

This month’s DLC/Update spotlight is going to Ghost of Yotei: Legends, an online co-op multiplayer mode arriving in patch 1.5 for Ghost of Yotei. In Legends, you’ll team up with friends to challenge monstrous, supernatural versions of the Yotei Six. Experience Survival mode, where you team up with three other players to defeat waves of increasingly difficult enemies on one of four maps. Each map has a territory to control that allows you to activate a blessing to help in battle. However, if you lose control, then a curse will activate, causing disadvantages to occur. 

Story mode has you team up with another player to tackle a series of 12 missions. After completing each set of three Story missions, you’ll unlock an Incursion, which is a large-scale four-player assault on a stronghold belonging to a member of the Yōtei Six. Each Incursion will culminate in a boss fight versus a giant, supernatural version of the Spider, the Oni, the Kitsune, or the Snake. Play as one of four classes: Samurai, Archer, Mercenary, or Shinobi. While any class can use a katana and ranged weapon, they also each excel in a different one of Ghost of Yotei’s weapon and combat systems, and can each earn their own unique armour cosmetics as you complete feats through gameplay. 

6. Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake

Return to this classic horror series, remade for modern hardware

Time for an old horror to get a fresh coat of paint with our next pick, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. This Japanese-style horror adventure game follows twin sisters who become lost in an abandoned village haunted by vengeful spirits. Fend off spirits with the Camera Obscura, a device that can capture and seal away the impossible. This signature mechanic now offers richer and more engaging gameplay, introducing features such as Focus, Zoom, and Filter Switching. In addition, the new “Holding Hands with Mayu” mechanic adds a heartfelt touch, letting you experience the deep bond between the sisters like never before. 7. Greedfall 2: The Dying World

Our next pick is a sequel to an RPG that’s coming out of early access. In Greedfall 2: The Dying World, embark on a new adventure, where every choice has consequences. Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game set in the beautiful yet brutal continent of Pywel. Embark on a journey as the Greymane Kliff to reunite and rebuild his clan. 10. Life Is Strange: Reunion

Finally, we end the month with the next entry of the Life is Strange series. In Life is Strange: Reunion, continue the saga of Max and Chloe with what could be the final chapter for the two. The story follows Max dealing with another time-related crisis, where in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy Caledon University. Max’s rewind power has bought her time, but she can’t prevent the blaze alone, cue in Chloe Price. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe has come to Caledon University to get Max’s help. The fire will force Max and Chloe to make devastating decisions. Can they find a future together before everything burns?
