July is upon us, which means we have another list of upcoming game releases for the month. Back in June, we had a bit of a breather from big AAA game releases. June was mostly dominated by DLCs from the likes of Elden Ring and Destiny 2. However, we also had other fantastic games worthy of celebration. PC players finally got their chance to own the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise on Steam. We also got the console release for Slime Rancher 2, adding even more ways to farm cute slimes.
The spree of isometric multiplayer games from horror classics continued with Killer Klowns from Outer Space. This brought the spooky zany clown shenanigans into the gaming space allowing us to play as both the Killer Klowns and their victims. We also had the release of another horror game, Still Wakes The Deep, which centred around an oil rig off the coast of Scotland. This thrilling tale was created by the award-winning studio The Chinese Room, the same studio currently developing Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2.
Now we look towards July when things are starting to pick up. We’re getting some fantastic multiplayer and cooperative experiences in different genres. Some ports are coming in for consoles, bringing us some great games. A new addition to Capcom’s great roster releases in July, hopefully bringing in another win for the long-running studio.
