Ubisoft Announces Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and a new Assassins Creed To Launch On The Current Fiscal Year. News Arrived With Less Than A Month To Go For E3 2017.

In a surprising twist of events French developer Ubisoft just revealed the existence of Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and a brand new Assassin's Creed through their twitter feed. The shocking news comes with just less than a month for the E3 2017 show. Furthermore, they seem to suggest that they will release this current fiscal year. However, the developer seemed to be shy when it came to providing details for these new installments.

What is undeniable is that Ubisoft promises a "hefty dose of new Far Cry adventures." They invite us to stay with them for "more high octane thrills!" While they urge us to "make history" once again in Assassin's Creed. With this brief amount of disclosure it's undeniable that Ubisoft is attempting to build quite an amount of hype for their upcoming Press conference. They will be holding their Press Conference on Monday June 12th just before Sony's. So stay tuned for more details.

  1. Ubisoft will probably talk about these at their E3 Conference. I imagine that, since they are sequels, they felt fine announcing their existence before E3.

    • But that is remarkable I had never seen developers announce major games a month before E3. Or at least I can’t remembering it happening before. It’s an interesting strategy alright. Perhaps they have other games to reveal that are new IPs.

      • There is that rumored rabbids-mario crossover game. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they want a main part of their show devoted to some of the less expected games, instead of the sequels.

      • That is probably why they are doing this. They do have a limited amount of time for their conference after all. Good point.
