Hey, I’m Nima. I started my adventure with Tiny Toons on a Sega console when I was 5, and since then, I have been passionate about video games. I got my first taste of writing during my college, in our student run zine, NAAM. I was studying architecture, and NAAM was about art and architecture. That was when I realized that I can actually put my two favorite things, games and writing, together. Games are a form of art after all.
I wrote a few mediocre articles about why video games are art, until on our last issue of NAAM, I was lucky enough to interview Richard Hogg, creator of the game Hohokum. That interview was the most memorable moment of my college, and it was the moment I decided that writing about games, is what I want to do when I grow up!
Now here I am, almost a grown up! I worked for a year in the field of my degree, architecture, but it wasn’t good enough. I decided to quit and pursue my dream. I started a personal blog to review my favorite games, and I started looking for opportunities to enter the game journalism career.
I am new in this path. I hope to learn and improve, so I can be the best version of myself in doing what I love.
