is a PC team action game with massive guardians and brave heroes.
The basic match structure is similar to MOBA: two teams of five slug it out for superiority by controlling resources, leveling up, and killing one another. But the skill-based mechanics, multiple maps, and shifting strategy priorities make the game more than a three-lane farm fest.
The goal of a Gigantic match is slaying the enemy's guardian. Guardians are enormous creatures that accompany teams into a match and periodically enter the fray. But team can't just go and smack guardian down; instead, the team must strengthen its own guardian by using resources, controlling map and summoning other powerful allies. A strong guardian can provide your team an opportunity to wound the enemy´s guardian and a weakened guardian needs to be protected from harm at all costs.Protect your guardian as your team charges across the battlefield, then see it crush the enemies underfoot.
Guardians are dynamic elements of Gigantic's combat. They have their own attacks and traits. Your guardian is the biggest ally you'll ever have. But your enemies have a guardian, too...The presence of guardians dramatically shakes up the status quo of stalemates and tug-of-war lead advantages common to team-based shooters.
You can unleash your creativity and improve physics-based abilities which let you invent new ways to amaze your friends and frustrate your enemies.
The world of Gigantic is a world of mystery, where airships soar over ancient ruins and a fantasy empire is yours for the taking.
The free-to-play Gigantic will launch on PC in 2015. Interested parties can sign up for the alpha test at the game's official website.
