Dishonored 2 – sequel to the Dishonored (2012), an action-adventure role-playing game with stealth, which will be released in the first or second quarter of 2016.
Gameplay
In the prologue, the player controls the empress Emily Kolduin. Then you can choose who to play again: for Attano Corvo, the protagonist of the first part, or Emily Kolduin, 25-year-old princess.
The player can take the game in stealth mode and does not commit any murder. The developers also said about a "third" way, although its purpose is still unknown.
Like in the first part, the player saves the Empire of the Islands from "otherworldly usurper". Corvo and Emily have the same mission, but different points of view, different reactions and different gameplay. Corvo has kept its supernatural powers, thus acquired additional updates. The game has improved upgrade system, in particular, the tree of upgrade skills. Emily has a new set of forces, such as "Far Limit", which allows to cross a distance without physical movement (likewise worked one protagonist’s ability in the first game).
Developers have reported that Dishonored 2 will be more difficult than the first part, there will be more features and options to improve the complexity. For example, if you long enough peek out from behind walls, you can be seen by the guards.
Story
Empire after 15 years of the plague Danvoll begins to sink into chaos. The fact that the Empress Emily Kolduin unexpectedly overthrew "otherworldly usurper". Emily was outlawed. Now she is determined to go back, and follows by the footsteps of Corvo Attano to become an assassin and recover her power.
Development
Dishonored 2 is being developed by the French company Arkane Studios. The game runs on a new engine of Bethesda, Void, which is based on the engine id tech 6. In the first Dishonored used the engine Unreal Engine 3. Game Director reported that the two main characters will be voiced.
A formal announcement of the game made its directors Rafael Kolantonio and Harvey Smith on the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2015, but a leak occurred the night before the press conference.
