Zack Snyder Fans Want DC Snyderverse to Continue on Netflix

Even though Warner Bros. is set to reboot the DC cinematic universe, it looks like fans of the old regime don't want to let go of the past. A passionate number of fans online want the Snyderverse to continue on Netflix.

Zack Snyder Fans Want DC Snyderverse to Continue on Netflix

Zack Snyder fans are a passionate bunch as they really like to support his vision for the DC comic book characters. Zack Snyder started the DCEU when he directed the semi-successful Man of Steel in 2013 starring Henry Cavill as Superman.

It wasn’t until the poor reception of its sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did Snyder and his relationship with Warner Bros. start to sour. Instead of releasing his original cut of Justice League, the 2017 release of the movie was butchered thanks to it being ruined by Avengers director Joss Whedon.

Fans didn’t let this go and they campaigned to see Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League. After a lot of campaigning, Warner Bros. caved in and released Zack Snyder’s Justice League in 2021 on HBO Max.

Sadly for fans, this pretty much marked the end of Zack Snyder’s universe for the DC superheroes. In late 2022, Warner Bros. assigned James Gunn and Peter Safran to pretty much reboot the entire DC universe from scratch.

Because of the big changes, we are no longer going to see Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam. Due to these changes, fans were outraged as they still want to see Snyder’s story get finished.

Now fans are typing a hashtag on Twitter to try and get Netflix to buy the rights to the Snyderverse. The fans really want to see a Man of Steel 2, Wonder Woman 3, and even ending with Justice League 2 and Justice League 3.

It remains to be seen if this campaign will be successful or not. According to an article from Forbes, they think Netflix will be the right home for the future of the Snyderverse. That being said, it’s unlikely to happen if James Gunn and Peter Safran refuse this proposal.
