Netflix dropped a new teaser trailer for You Season 4 today. The trailer reveals lead Joe Goldberg will have a new life and profession. No longer a book clerk, husband or librarian, Joe Goldberg is now Professor Jonathan Moore living in London.
The psychological thriller television series will get a two-part release. The first five episodes will drop on February 10, 2022 and the second half of the season will drop a month later on March 10, 2022.
Star Penn Badgley will return as Joe Goldberg and Tati Gabrielle will reprise her role as Marienne Bellamy. Newcomers Lukas Gage, Tilly Keeper, Charlotte Ritchie, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Ed Speleers will join the cast for the upcoming season. Filming for the fourth season began in March 2022, and it concluded back in August. The season was filmed in the United Kingdom.Â
This season will explore Joe, now Jonathan, in a new environment. Showrunner Sera Gamble is excited by the change.
I think Joe is great when he’s in an environment that’s not natural to him, that’s foreign to him. So literally foreign could be very cool. And it’s a big, wide world out there.Â
Season 3 left us with questions on what was next for Joe. After plenty of chaos, a dead wife and a fresh start, it will be interesting to see how this season differs. Are you excited for You season 4? Let us know in the comments.
