Insomniac Games confirmed that players will play as Ratchet, Clank, and the mysterious new character. During the PS5 event, a trailer unveiled the game, showing off gameplay and all of its ray-traced glory.

Insomniac Games unveiled Rift Apart during the PS5 event. The presentation showed off a cinematic trailer along with gameplay. It showed off how the PS5 lets Ratchet and his robot partner Clank tear through different worlds without loading screens or dropping the frame rate. Also, the video showed off what ray tracing will look like on Sony’s upcoming console.

In a PlayStation Blog post, details on how Insomniac will implement the PS5’s power and speed along with the features of its controller, the Dual Sense.
