Year 4 Content And A Battle Pass Are Announced for Rainbow Six Seige

Rainbow Six Seige reveals big things for the next season of Year 4. More than this, a new Battle Pass system was also confirmed. The new content includes new characters, items, and sites.

The Battle Pass system is set for later in season 3. There will be a ‘mini’ battle pass, which they’ve named ‘Call Me Harry’ first. It also allows players to use Battle Points earned to unlock tiers and unique rewards, including a ‘Harry Chibi charm’ when you complete it. With free access, the Battle Pass will last for seven days and more will come in season 4.

As for the new characters, they are Amaru from Peru and Goyo from Mexico. They are an attacker and defender respectively and feature in the game’s latest teaser. Amaru carries a G8A1 automatic rifle and a Supernova shotgun. She can also use her Garra hook to pull herself up high in a hurry and has an ability called Garra Kick. If she flings herself through a window with the hook she’ll immediately take down anyone standing behind it.

Goyo, on the other hand, has access to the deployable Volcán Shield. It has an incendiary bomb attached to the front of it to shut down access to certain routes.

Also included in the teaser is a major rework of the ‘Kanal’ map to make it easier to navigate.
