The Xbox Games Showcase is officially scheduled for July 23rd at 9 AM PT, 5 PM BST. You can stream it on Youtube and Twitch since Microsoft’s own Mixer will be shut down on July 22nd.

The Xbox Series X is committed to launching in the holiday season and Microsoft has already shown off a handful of games for their next-generation console. The last time Microsoft held a games event was in May with an Inside Xbox episode that was painfully overhyped, so it’s encouraging that Xbox is just messaging this as the “Xbox Games Showcase”.

There have been rumours swirling about Xbox’s upcoming event for months now. Most recently trademarks for the Fable IP were renewed by Microsoft adding fuel to the rumour that Playground Games have been working on a reboot to the RPG series. Other rumoured announcements include a reboot to the Perfect Dark IP alongside an announcement of a new game from The Outer Worlds developers, Obsidian Entertainment. Expect to see a lot of unexpected content from Xbox’s whopping 15 first-party developers.

Microsoft has already confirmed Halo Infinite will be at the event and is expected to launch alongside the Series X. Expect other previously announced Xbox games such as Psychonauts 2, Hellblade II and Everwild to also be present at the show, alongside a collection of third-party content.
