Xbox Presents Family Plans to Game Pass

A few months ago, Jez Corden talked about an Xbox Family Plan for the Game Pass being in the works. He detailed that it will make the ultimate plan shareable to up to four other people. Now, It’s officially here, maybe not for all users yet. Xbox announced yesterday on the Xbox Wire that Xbox Insiders that dwell in Ireland or Colombia can now access the newest family plan for Xbox Game Pass.

This plan lets you share your Xbox Game Pass subscription with up to four people of your choice under the condition that they reside in the same country as you. You must be in the Xbox Insider preview, as opposed to the other invited accounts, which don’t need to be in the Xbox Insider preview. If you wish to convert to this Xbox Insider preview, you will get as many days as the monetary value of your subscription can get. The example included in the wire post was that the Ultimate pass will be converted to 18 days of the family plan.

Although we were not introduced to a final price of the plan, based on the conversion, the family plan will most likely cost around $25. The Family Plan will share the Ultimate pass for the five people using the account across the platforms. Please note that the Members of Xbox All Access cannot enroll in this plan.
