Xbox 20/20 will be the start of a new monthly system of fan updates that will lead well into the holiday season. With the rise of digital gaming showcases, such as Nintendo Direct and Sony’s State of Play, it’s no surprise to see Microsoft getting into the mix.

Xbox 20/20 will begin with the Inside Xbox event on May 7th. The following monthly updates will be detailed during the Inside Xbox show. Xbox has a full list of things coming for this year including expansions and updates for project xCloud.

One thing gamers can expect is a show in July that will feature games from Xbox Game Studios. This will include new game announcements as well as first-look gameplay for several upcoming titles.

For the Xbox 20/20 May update, fans will get a better look at several games coming to the Xbox Series X. In addition to the games, Xbox will confirm which titles will take advantage of the Smart Delivery feature. All of the games shown will also be optimized for the Series X. This means 4K resolution up to 120 fps, hardware-accelerated raytracing, and fast SSD load times.

The Inside Xbox show will be the first major event for Summer Game Fest being hosted by Geoff Keighley. Summer Game Fest is a digital replacement for E3 this year that will span over 4 months. The show that will lead off the Xbox 20/20 and Summer Game Fest events will be available on all major streaming platforms including Mixer and Twitch.
