Gaming Insider Believes Breath of the Wild 2 to Likely Appear at E3 2021

Remember that Breath of The Wild sequel Nintendo showed off 2 years ago? Well, it might be back! This insider information might be good news if that's what you’re hoping for. And to top it off, Nintendo might have an even bigger announcement ready.

Gaming Insider Believes Breath of the Wild 2 to Likely Appear at E3 2021 Cover.

So far, the 35th anniversary of the cultural phenomenon Zelda series has been quite disappointing. But, alas, we are entirely into “E3 season,” and prominent insider and Venture Beat writer Jeff Grubb has been stirring the pot on the rumor stove as always.

In one of his recent “Games Mess” Twitch Livestreams (at the 00:39:56 mark), Grubb stated he’s 51% sure Breath of The Wild 2 will be a part of Nintendo’s E3 presentation. And if not, they’ll have a Zelda-centric Nintendo Direct in the coming weeks.

He also alludes that the all but confirmed Switch Pro and Breath of The Wild 2 will be inherently tied into one presentation, so regardless of if our favorite elf-like hero is at E3 or not, he’ll be paired with Nintendo’s big new toy. If that isn’t enough, Grubb has also stated Breath of The Wild 2 isn’t the only Zelda game Nintendo will show in the coming weeks. This would likely be another port similar to the Skyward Sword HD Switch port announced earlier this year.

Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - First Look Trailer - Nintendo E3 2019

The sequel is all but sure to be Nintendo’s next mega-hit, as the original managed over 22 million in sales, making it the 4th highest selling Switch game. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about it besides it’s likely taking place underground and Ganon’s new variation, but that may not be the case for much longer.
