Sony PlayStation 5! We finally know what makes it tick

PlayStation 5 Specs

PS5 is all about that buttery smooth speed

Sony finally unveiled the “under the hood” details of their upcoming PlayStation 5 console. Spec-wise, the console itself is a bit weaker than the next-gen Xbox but it has a far superior SSD that promises to minimize load times. Even in general, Sony’s goal is to provide the smoothest gaming experience possible and, once again, make it extremely easy for the developers to create some awesome games. While there was the expected talk about hitting 60 FPS at 4K with ray tracing enabled, the more interesting topic was the backward compatibility with the PlayStation 4. Sony promised that the PS5 will have backward compatibility with at least 100 most popular PS4 titles at launch. GameStop ignores shutdown requests due to coronavirus pandemic

GameStop stores coronavirus

Essential only if they start selling groceries

The top brass at GameStop has ordered its employees to their doors open despite any local or state-directed shutdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic. Their justification for this is that GameStop is an essential store that provides its customers with products that will enable them and enhance their experience of working from home. Of course, both the employees and the general populace were rightly outraged by this directive and have taken to social media to vent their frustration. By doing this, GameStop is actively disobeying the local law and regulations, endangering its own employees as well as those of its customers. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 possible leak hits the internet

Spider-Man 2 rumors and leaks

Venom in Spider-Man 2? Sign us in!

Marvel’s Spider-Man is one of the best games to come out on the PlayStation 4. With that being said, it’s pretty certain that we’ll be getting a sequel at some point after the next generation of consoles launches. We’ve already had some rumors and possible leaks back in January and now we’ve got some more. Most of them confirm what we’ve already heard from multiple sources. There’s the fact that Peter Parker will remain the lead protagonist, with Mile Morales playing a more significant role. Then there’s talk about villains with the leaker stating that the main one will apparently be Harry Osborn as Venom, though Eddie Brock will also play a major role in the narrative. For more details of this supposed leak, be sure to check out our very detailed coverage.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster seems like a safe bet

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remaster

Modern Warfare 2 remaster seems like a no-brainer

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster of the game’s campaign has been rated on a South Korean rating board website. While there’s no official confirmation from neither Activision nor Infinity Ward, the remaster really seems like a no-brainer – especially after the massive success of the remaster of the original Modern Warfare. The second game is cited to be the best the franchise has to offer and who could forget the highly controversial “No Russian” airport shooting mission that’ll probably be even more disturbing with more realistic visuals should the remaster come true. For more details on that possibility, check out our original article covering this information.

Next-gen VR headset is being made by industry giants

HP Reverb G2 VR device

Could be awesome but also awesomely expensive

Tech industry giants – Valve, Microsoft and HP, are collaborating on a next-gen virtual reality headset. The product already has its own Steam page as well as a dedicated spot on HP’s website. We don’t get much specific information other than the marketing superlatives of how the device will become the new standard in VR. What we do know is the fact that the device will be called HP Reverb G2 and we’ll probably see it in action at the end of this year. Come check out our original coverage and speculate with us on its price, compatibility, and specifications.

God of War comic bridges the gap between the old and the new

God of War Fallen God comic

Answering what Kratos did after defeating Zeus

God of War 3 had a seriously badass ending that left us on a somewhat of a cliffhanger. When we picked up with Kratos in the new God of War, we were already in full swing of his new life as well as his new axe with little to no explanation of how we got there. Well, that gap is something that will be explored in a new God of War comic book titled God of War: Fallen God. The story will pick up sometime after Kratos defeats Zeus and will see him embark on a journey to distance himself from his shameful, anger-filled past. For more information on this exciting new comic, check out our original coverage.
