In what is probably the biggest announcements of last week and perhaps the whole year is the announcement of Google Stadia. A gaming streaming service often hailed as Netflix for games. The main boasting point of the new system is the fact that you’ll only need a speedy and stable internet connection to play AAA games without paying any thought to system requirements. CD Projekt Red plans to ship two AAA titles by 2021.
Yes, one of those games is the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, but the other game – we know next to nothing about except the fact is that it’s full-blown AAA RPG game. The information comes from CD Projekt Red’s blog post where they even addressed concerns that Cyberpunk would cannibalize the other game, lowering its quality. Quantic Dreams games to join epic games store
We’ve already known for quite some time that Quantic Dream abandoned its PlayStation exclusivity, but now, we know in favor of whom – the Epic Games Store. It’s good to know that these won’t be straight up ports but will instead be updated with some new content. APEX LEGENDS boasts insane sales & BEGINS ITS FIRST SEASON
Yes, by now, we all know Apex is wildly successful but it’s good to put some numbers behind those words. February saw Fortnite and Apex clash over earnings with Fortnite winning out by the skin of its teeth. It remains to be seen if this will this change now that Apex rolled out its first season. What is certain is that this narrow competition is most favorable for gamers, no matter which game ultimately comes out on top.
DEVIL MAY CRY 5 AWESOME SALES RESULT
Our James Newnham had plenty to say in his Devil May Cry 5 review and ultimately gave the game a 9/10. It’s no different across many other outlets and it’s no surprise that the game shipped a huge number of copies in its first month, especially compared to the last entries in the franchise. MORTAL KOMBAT 11 FURTHER EXPANDS ITS ROSTER
Mortal Kombat 11 will feature many known names once it ships on 23rd of April. The latest “kombatants” to join the roster are shadow ninja Noob Saibot as well as the infamous evil sorcerer Shang Tsung.
