Watch Dogs: Legion Announced by Ubisoft

One of the more notable new IPs from Ubisoft has been given more time in the sun. The biggest change here is that you can recruit some friends along the way. Watch Dogs: Legion is coming to Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia on March 6th, 2020.

In the trailer shown during Ubisoft’s E3 conference, the primary asset shown was the ability to recruit a wide number of people to build the resistance. It seems one’s choices aren’t limited to a certain subset—all appear to be recruitable. Among those listed was an older woman, labeled as “retired assassin,” wearing a mask and shooting someone in the face. If Ubisoft was appealing to the sillies in the audience, they likely succeeded.

Its sequel, Watch Dogs 2, was released two years later to relatively similar reception, though with disappointing revenue numbers. Even so, Ubisoft seems confident enough in the critical reception to release yet another sequel.
