Warner Bros. Game Announcements Set For August EventWarner Bros. has announced that a digital event dubbed as DC FanDome coming this August. The event plans to deliver updates and new reveals on DC properties including video games. The 24-hour stream that is to be held on August 22 at 10 pm PT/1 PM ET or 6 PM in the UK promises to be an “immersive virtual fan experience”.

Ann Sarnoff, Chair and CEO of Warner Bros talking about the recently announced event said:

For more than 85 years, the world has turned to DC’s inspiring heroes and stories to lift us up and entertain us, and this massive, immersive digital event will give everyone new ways to personalize their journey through the DC Universe without lines, without tickets and without boundaries. With DC FanDome, we’re able to give fans from around the world an exciting and unparalleled way to connect with all their favourite DC characters, as well as the incredible talent who bring them to life on the page and screen.

As for video games, this is the likely place where we will see the WB games that are in the pipeline. It is long rumoured that WB Montreal is working on a new Batman game while mystery still resumes over what original Batman Arkham developers Rocksteady are doing. In 2018 a Harry Potter RPG game was leaked and according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier is still in active development.

Prior to the pandemic, it was reported that WB was planning on hosting their first-ever E3 press conference this year until the convention was cancelled so this does suggest that they do have a lot to show in the coming months.
