Four new maps are releasing for the remastered edition of Modern Warfare. The maps are Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek and Killhouse. The map pack will sell for $15 and comes with 10 rare supply drops. It will release on March 21st for PS4 with Xbox One and PC getting the map pack at a later date.
Personally, I feel like Activision have not caught on to what other publishers are doing with offering all map packs for free but instead charging for cosmetic items. Due to many gamers having money restraints, offering paid map packs splits up communities. This is especially true in Modern Warfare Remastered where you have to buy the legacy edition of Infinite Warfare which costed $80 at launch to get access to the game. This means that gamers would have to pay $80 for the Infinite Warfare legacy edition, $15 for the Modern Warfare map pack and $40 for the Infinite Warfare season pass if they would like access to all Call Of Duty content released this year. That is nearly $150.
Are you looking forward to this map pack? Or do you think Activision should be offering it for free? Feel free to let us know down in the comments.
